I liked it more than Django, actually. No one is safe in this film, and If you like old, slow building westerns like they used to make in the old days, you will dig this.
The wife and I will love it. Thanks to her schedule, we'll have to wait until the weekend it opens wide, but will see it on the 70 mm screen nevertheless.
Best film of 2015 for me. It's a 3 1/2 hour film, that's if you see the roadshow version and not once was I looking over the phone to see the time. It even has intermission, so you can get a smoke break or whatever. Better than Django, favorite hateful eight, the sheriff and the bounty hunter. GO SEE THIS NOW!!!!
I saw it a few days ago, it was meh. It was by far the most forgettable movie by Tarantino thus far. For me there was just nothing particularly interesting in the entire movie.
Yea, I kinda see that it might not be for everybody. Curious, how would you rank QT's film or if not, what other films of his you like more? For me it's: 1. Pulp Fiction 2. Reservoir Dog 3. Kill Bill 1 and 2 4. Hateful Eight
of those I've seen I'd rank them 1. Pulp Fiction 2. Inglourious Basterds 3. Kill Bill vol 2 4. Kill Bill vol 1 5. Reservoir Dogs 6. Jackie Brown sizable gap 7. Hateful Eight I usually like his movies, I just couldn't get into this one for whatever reason. Maybe I'll watch it again at some point and see if I was just in a bad mood or whatever.
Is it anything like the good, the bad, the ugly or inglorious basterds? I loved those movies. I hated django.
