When you say movies, do you mean this type of movie that set during Slavery or Hollywood in general??
Good movie. Entertaining in much the same way Inglorious Basterds was. If you liked that movie, you'll like Django for sure.
One review said it was basically the same movie in structure and theme (substituting black protagonist for jewish.) Also reading that the last 45 minutes are pretty boring/gratuitous, but would like to know what the BBS folk think.
I could agree with that statement. The ending sort of dragged a bit for me but it was still entertaining. Jamie Fox was awesome as usual and Leo did very well. Samuel L. Jackson was pretty funny in this too.
I liked it. Not as much as Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, or Kill Bill but still a very good movie. Definitely Tarantino. The ending felt a little drawn out, but it was very good. Are you referring to Foxx's character of Jackson's?
It was good, but I was expecting more from the reviews it's been getting. Still think that Pulp Fiction, Inglorious, and Kill Bill were better.
