This movie looks great, cant wait for it to come out. After reading the books it will be interesting to see how they bring it to the big screen.

    Hollywood is bankrupt of ideas

"Bankers are Evil" is perhaps the oldest trope in storytelling.

i seriously can't understand why you so feel protective about bankers, and yet try to denigrate "fat cat" professors.

The movie looks great, but so does any Scorsese.

It's based on a true story about Jordan Belfort. The guy went to a fancy prison were he wrote the book the movie is based on.

Nothing wrong with lending money and charging a fee for it.

I denigrate their bloated taxpayer funded salaries.

Looks way over the top and kinda similar to The Great Gatsby. Scorsese wasting his time.

Never really like most of Scorsese's movies. This looks like his another attempt at the stupid Oscar boring ****. Maybe he should go out and direct something new and interesting instead of thinking about the stupid Oscar. At least he tries it on Hugo but that felt flat in the second half of the movie.

That was loosely based on Jordan Belfort who is the author of the book that Wolf of Wall Street is adapted from.
