Roger Moore was the bond I watched as a kid. Was like wtf when I found out there were Bonds before him. When people made a big deal out of Sean Connery as Bond, I was like "really? that dude from Highlander??"

I was the same. And then I saw the Connery bond films. And it all made sense.

We're working our way through all the bond films again. Kiddos love 'em. Except for all the kissing.

Looks awesome. Casino Royale was amazing, and I also didn't like QofS at first, but the more you watch the more you realize its not that bad.

Looks pretty good from the trailer and will probably watch in the theatre but an Austerity based Bond movie might be pretty interesting. How about a plot where the bad guy is some banker trying to take advantage of chaos in Eurosphere to try to control currency markets but Bond's funding is cut so he can't rely on gadgets but his own brains and brawn to get to the guy.

Daniel Craig is solid as Bond, Not as smooth/cool jivin like Connery but Craig brings sinister and grittiness to this Bond roll....

Not a fan of the new, very young Quartermaster.

Desmond Llewelyn will always be the best Q in 007 history. "Now pay attention 007!"

Looks pretty cool. Like the idea of Q as a villain.

    movie looks corny

"everyone needs a hobby, so what's yours"
    "resurrection"

That's just corny, and the jumping into the burning train then walking casually is also really corny.

The Bond series has a legacy of one-liners and dry humor. Hasn't hurt its popularity yet.

This is the same series that had a character named 'p***y Galore'.

The problem isn't M, the problem is Judy Dench. She's a fantastic actress, but just not suited for this role. Love Dench. Love M. Don't love Dench as M.

And, for the record, the order of Bonds from best to worst is:

    1. Connery - the epitome of coolness, suavity, and deadly cruelty
    2. Craig - MUCH better than expected, just lacks the smoothness of Connery
    3. Lazenby - he was actually not bad, folks
    4. Dalton - looked the part, just not a great actor
    5. Moore - way too hokey for me
    6. Brosnan - lacks any edge, maybe if he'd gotten the role during his Remington Steele days

While I agree that Craig is a great bond, moonraker was my favorite (most iconic bond) and therefore moore needs to be higher on the list.
