    lol, I don't favor McClain like everybody else, but he has an ear in the movie biz since he is a SAG member and has his Hollywood connections. I do agree with his movie opinions most of the time, but I just thought what he said was interesting.

    McClain has a vested interest...he's in the movie. He plays a judge.

    Regardless, I saw the movie at SXSW...there is absolutely no chance it wins an Oscar.

    I attempted to see the Premiere, but since the Linsanity Q&A ran long, by the time I made the walk to the Paramount the theater was already full. I barely made the 2nd Screening, literally the last person allowed in (no paid admissions...all badges and wristbands).

    The movie itself was all style, little substance. The story was thin and all the female characters had no depth...they were essentially interchangeable except for the S. Gomez character. Though, if for no other reason, the movie may still be worth seeing for James Franco's performance...he's highly entertaining in his role and steals the movie (though he doesn't appear until about half-way through).

    caught the 10pm showing, I enjoyed it. WYSIWYG via the trailer. If your not into the Harmony Korine "artsy" style, its not for you. I saw Kids back in the days, so I knew what to expect. Franco's performance is brilliant, at worst, you'd see T/A, none of the main 3 girls, but the 4th one, Rachel Korine? plenty of her....

    worth the watch I thought, but again not for everybody. 7 people left 2/3rd of the way through, 1 douchy college dude bust out "THIS MOVIE FU**ING SUX" when he walked out.
