i expect to see an arm wrestling scene between Portman and Kunis with winner going home with the guy and the loser with a bone sticking out of her forearm.
I was about to say WHAAAAAT? Then I thought about it and realized that I can't totally disagree with you. It is a testament to the awesomeness of both directors. I think I want to see The Fountain today.
Black Swan Has anybody seen it? It's not playing in that many theaters here in Dallas? Wonder why, the cast is great and the trailer looks really interesting 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, and other rave reviews calling it a perfect movie...along with a powerful performance from Natalie Portman...not to mention, MILA KUNIS...the things i would do to that woman..
I saw it in Chicago the other day. Great, great film. I can't think of any other movie that has delved so deep into the dark world of people who are gunners. Before watching this movie, I knew little of or hardly cared for ballet dancing. This movie is pure psychological horror. Note: do not watch this soley for the sex scenes. Yes there's some intense and hardcore sex w/violence, but really, when seeing those scenes in the movie itself, you don't watch it with out of enjoyment. A close example would be the "ass to ass" scene in Requiem for a Dream. Yeah, the concept might've turn on a lot of guys, but in the movie, you were horrified at what happened.
My wife's cousin, Kristina Anapau, is in this movie...we were too tied up this weekend to see it...but I'm guessing we'll see it this weekend. Glad to see it's getting good reviews.
Excellent film, throughly engaging from the start and Portman is excellent. Reminds me a tad of Aronofsky's own Requiem for a Dream in terms of tone.
Idiots. I've known where to find the Black Swan for years. http://www.omnihotels.com/FindAHotel/Houston/Dining/BlackSwan.aspx
is it like a sexual abuse or rape scene? my girlfriend was sexually abused and she almost can't handle it when a movie has a scene with rape..
