I can understand how you'd feel that way. To each his own! And yeah...definitely disagree with Brave winning. That, to me, just felt like it won off of Pixar's reputation.

Nope. She's a very good actress who deserved her Oscar for Monster's Ball and her Razzie for Catwoman. Oh, and she's kinda cute, too. :grin:
Best cinematography to a picture that was primarily a digital composite? I thought Skyfall was a better real time photographed film.

Not even close. He's doing just fine. Not great, but he's not even close to James Franco's level of bad.

The LA Times did a whole quantitative breakdown last year. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/movies/academy/ They also wrote some interesting sub articles on it. Like how Lorenzo Lamas, Eric Estrada and Meat Loaf are members and Woody Allen, Viggo Mortensen are not.
I don't understand why new movies have to be nominated every year, why??? How about have an award show for movies that are timeless??? You know films like, 'Hey Dude where's My Car', 'Billy Madison', and 'Car 54, Where are you?'
