Probably would be a good idea. You would probably want to limit it to people who come with kids to keep out the Sandusky's, so this would limit the amount of movies you could show. If they had a small theater with about 5 screens, and a nice daycare I imagine it would be successful.
wow, i enjoyed silver linings playbook, i didn't know really what to expect going into it...but nominations in all 4 acting categories and best picture too?? it wasn't THAT great.
Y'all mother truckers don't steal my idea! I'm not even mad, bros. In Mexico, for a while, I have heard that they don't let you go into KIDS' movies unless you have a kid for the same Sandusky reasons.
I'm so happy “Beasts of the Southern Wild” is getting recognition, a huge win for true independent cinema. Really surprised to see Silver Linings nominated, it was a good film but not Oscar worthy imho.
Let's just all be glad that these movies are IMMENSELY better than last years. Argo, Silver Linings, and Lincoln were better than any of last year's nominations. I haven't seen Django or Zero Dark Thirty but they're probably better as well. I think the major category favorites are: Argo and Lincoln Spielberg DDL or Denzel Can't guess on Actress cause I've only seen 1 of the movies.

I don't think I will watch it. Hurt Locker was so unrealistic and just mediocre on all accounts except for the lead actor.
Angelika beat you to it. They do a cry baby matinee for $6 with kids under 5 coming in free. As for the nominations, I too have seen none of these movies. In fact, there's a couple I haven't heard of. They made be good movies, but most of the Best Picture nominations look like a drag.
Argo, Life of Pi, and Django Unchanined are the only very good movies up for best motion picture. Lincoln and Zero Dark thirty were garbage.
