Brilliant, he should easily get a best supporting actor nomination.

So, in other words, he'll get snubbed again.

Well in terms of MDB, I had a different problem with the boxing scenes. Maggie is pushing 30, trains as a boxer for about a year, and we're supposed to believe that she can knock out just about every opponent she faces in two punches. Those five second knock outs were getting pretty ludicrous. But I will say that since this is women's boxing, where the level of competition is pretty crappy, it makes it somewhat more credible. At least they didn't try this with men.

Yeah, it was women's boxing so that can make it more possible. But seeing knockouts that quick is not impossible, just look at Mike Tyson back in the day. He was king of the 1st round knockout.

Well it would be practically impossible (99.999% Got to have a little margin for mutant genetic freaks) if the fighter was pushing 30, and only trained for about a year.

Cinderalla Man is easily one of the best movies I have seen in years. It is not just a boxing movie, it is muich more. The fight he takes up for his family was heart wrenching, at least to me. And to cap it all off, its true!

I have also recently seen Million Dollar Baby, and I don't think there is any comparison. An improbable story, to say the least.

Yeah, I got this DVD for Christmas and I had forgotten how great it was. Movies like this become so much better when you know that it is all true (for the most part).
