    This is more interesting than the typical hot teacher - high schooler case.

    So her defense seems to hinge on:
    1) he wasn't her student, but just a student in that school
    2) they banged outside of the USA (maybe I'm reading too much into it)
    3) his family approves of her and does not want to press charges
    4) she nor her mom did not try to tamper w/ evidence, but just sent 1 text to tell the boy to get rid of the phone b/c the cops were monitoring it
