Wait.. if it chuck and perhaps terry back.. what about alan williams?.. dude has been a stud in the summer league.. rather get terry back and sign alan williams imo
Trade, possibly 3 way? Chuck comes on to this team as automatically the best post defender for the guys like LmA and blake griffins.
I doubt he will be a regular part of the rotation. He is there for insurance at the end of the bench.

I love it, Hayes is a proven professional basketball player and a great locker room guy. If everybody is healthy, he shouldn't see the floor. If (when) somebody gets hurt he will step up when his number is called, and go back to the bench once he's not needed. He can also be useful in certain specialty matchups. Regardless of what he's asked to do, he won't complain about it. I prefer this over a young guy with "upside". Hayes won't dominate anything, but he's proven that he can step in without hurting the team. Something a young player may not be able to do.
This. People are acting like the 3rd stringers will be consistently getting significant minutes. These are veteran specialists who are great leaders and teammates. We already have a bunch of young talent in Jones, D-Mo, Capela, McDaniels, Dekker, and Harrell. Do we really need more young front court players on this roster? I'd rather have those vets who can set a good example for these young guys.
I like it to. I think you can count on Hayes to play above average D and his hands will always be great at snagging boards, catching passes, getting steals even if he has lost a step.

It's bizarre how far he fell literally as soon as he went to the Kings. Sacramento really is where careers go to die. Hopefully, he can have a partial resurrection Diaw-style here.
