Agreed. He reminds me a little of a young Chuck actually. Maybe not as good of a defender, but then again Chuck probably isn't the defender he once was either.
Believe me, I love Smith and the Chuckwagon, but I thought Bogut didn't kill us, it was a barrage of illegal screens to free up one Mr. Steph Curry.
Man, people keep slamming Dorsey. I saw most all the games this year, and I saw Dorsey do some things. Really went after the boards. Did I miss something? For his price, is he really that disposable? I'll tell you what - I will say something a lot of ppl would disagree with - but I am pretty convinced that Dorsey will have more of an NBA career than Nick Johnson will ever have. That guy showed me nothing at all.
Alan Williams, marcus thornton, ty lawson for minimum after he is waived, chuckster, resign smith and possibly keep kj
Players have arrived. Players coming, perhaps, and players definitely leaving, but we don't know who. Turmoil, uncertainty. Sounds pretty normal, doesn't it.
I would love it. Chuck Hayes is my kind of player. He's obviously a 12th man but he's my kind of player.
I seriously don't see what the gripe is about signing Chuck Hayes to a minimum wage contract. Is there someone better that would have been signed if and only if the Rockets didn't spend $1M and a roster spot on Chuck? This is what the Rockets always do-- use all 20 roster spots available in the offseason to try guys out. A couple years ago, the Rockets signed Marcus Camby to a minimum wage guaranteed contract, and Camby never was healthy enough to play. So they cut him and paid him $1M. It made absolutely zero impact on future moves made even in this "worst case scenario."
He has not signed yet. Save it for later. Zero impact, just a roster spot, this time not much impact on the court either.
