so you are saying we wont win just playing our young players for 1 position? I mean, we were winning as the youngest team, now with 1 more year of experience under the belt+howard, we are to be fine as long as the pf can grab some rebound and play defense.

Hayes would be bad. We need Patterson back.

I'm didn't saying we wont win, or we can't win with young players. I'f one of our young players earns the starting job then good for us. What if our young players don't earn the starting job? Which was the case last season after the the trade deadline. We then are giving players undeserving mins where they are hurting the team.

Signing Hayes would be a nice insurance at the 4 spot if none of our young 4's step up this season.

the word on camby from beat writers is that he's washed up. If that was the case I would prefer Hayes to camby. it's all about performance vs value.

Chuck isn't a bad offensive player these days. Great passer and ball handler, excellent with the layups around the rim. Catching passes, etc.
