I was a Live fan until 2005, I loved 2005 and than 2006 Live sucked so bad that the hardest fans couldn't play it. So I changed into 2K and I'm happy and I think 2k is more popular on this board cause it's more realistic and better. Anyway Live will probably suck again, Rafer Alston will be able to dunk with two hands like he could in 2008 and players like Kobe, LeBron will be unstoppable unless you break their legs.

2K fanboys? 2K is just a better basketball game, period. I could care less who makes the better NBA game (LIVE or 2K), but for the past 5 years 2K has been far, far, far, far better than NBA Live........Unless your 13 and could care less about the "true sport" of basketball....(Which is ok too) But for an avid adult basketball fan, NBA 2K6 is better than NBA Live 09......
Every gaming magazine out there would agree with you. EA is great in diversifying their product, ad placement, Music tracks, but as for originality, nope. Look at the Burnout series. Burnout is possibly the best racing game i've ever played, and I hate racing. I refer to nascar as the sport of hicks. Burnout made me buy a car game, wow. Why was it done so well, because EA picked it up later. I think EA is really good at tweaking a ready made product, but as for building from the ground up, not really. They are the Phil Jackson of game manufacturers.
I used to get the NBA Live games every year right from the Sega through to the PS2. As the Live games got worse and worse, I stopped buying them all together. Then one year I got one of the 2K games and WOW.... I would never go back to buying Live games.
you mean EA has the lack of originality that it goes and steals features off other games and makes it as their own like 2k Sports just recently did with Online Team Play that they stole from EA Sports? Yeah, EA has no originality at ALLL Everything 2k Sports does EA has pretty much already done it in their games. Every feature 2k Sports has is directly linked to EA Sports if you like it or not. EA PUT simulation basketball games on the map and 2k Sports is just following their lead, and taking bits and parts of EA to embed into their games. Yeah EA lacks so much originality that other games just HAVE to take their features to make their game better HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Yeah I played live before, but I switched to 2K since 2K2, I downloaded the demo of live 09, I have to say, it still sucks.
Then why is 2k like 4 years further along in game progression. I guess you can say that 2K stole the peanuts from lives huge steaming pile of ****..........
Maybe.... Depending on Landry's knee..... But I want to watch this Sessions guy more, We'll see if he can be as consistently good as he was at the end of last year.....
But I think SEGA needs to work on the appearance of the players, the head is way too big, EA did a better job on this one.
