cool! the white-red shoes look really nice. also I love Li-Ning's slogan" anything is possible". It sounds similar. A intentional mimic to Adidas?
Did you mean you have not read what I translated ? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=2605842&postcount=63 http://blog.sina.com.cn/u/1095399324 Yes, according to what was reported in the above blog (of Li Ning forum), Chuck Hayes started to wear his Li Ning Free Jumper in the game aainst the Wizards. He became the second NBA player after Damon Jones to wear Li Ning. For some reason, the shoes for Shaquille O'Neil is not yet ready.
Probably because his feet are gigantic and they didn't have enough rubber to make them Thanks for the pics!
Well, the shoes for Chuck Hayes is much quicker, as it is not a specially designed one. It is Free Jumper, a readily available model. All it needs to do is to fit his size. For Shaq's, if I am not mistaken, it is going to be a special design, sort of custom-made, and will have Shaq's name as its brand model......so it is going to take some time. But in any case, even if it is now available, Shaq won't be wearing it, as he just had gone under the knife, and would take weeks for the rehabilitation.
i don't think Babelfish translations of chinese articles will ever stop being funny. you couldn't write it more awkwardly if you tried. but thanks to pryuen for doing an actual translation. i liked the part where yao mentions that hayes knows his responsibilities and then says one of them is to keep yao from committing fouls. i mean we know it's true but it's still funny to hear him say it. hey now, don't forget that time bowen made jamison miss a last second shot because he tripped and fell while running at jamison and it distracted him. you can't teach that kind of defensive technique. just think, hayes wasn't even on our team for a large part of last year and now he's getting shoe endorsements.
Damn rookies, don't quote entire babelfish translation in your post and only respond with a one-liner. Babelfish translation annoys the hell of outta me. What a waste to ClutchFans server's storage and bandwidth. It should be avoided if possible. It's OK to make fun of one or two sentences here and there, but please don't do it for the whole damn thing. TIA
I want a shoe contract too. So will the Chinese sign a Rockets fan to endorse their shoes after they have run out of Rockets players to sign?
Still not an opportunity for you even after they run out of Rockets players to sign, cause there are lots of Rockets fans in China as well. These companies could easily sign a fans there.
Those shoes look real good. I'm a Rocket (and Hayes) fan from Chicago, Illinois, USA. Any chance I can get a pair of "Chuck's". If so, where can I find them, and how much would they be?
Chinese brands are actually quite good. CASIQ calculators, 1BM nootbooks, they even have Microseft mouses everywhere. I bought a pair of abibas in Shanghai last summer. It's incrediblely good! Bonzi should consider signing a contract with them.
