Willis was one of the strongest players in the nba back then. I think gasol is very skilled, but like most international bigs, he's finesse. Willis was a really good athlete with power and a go to move. He could shoot that jump hook left or right with good range. Like I said, no way chuck hayes could defend some of the lessor bigs in the 80's. Not going to bring up the high level all stars, but the mid level guys would give him the business. Of course big men were big men back then. They didn't try to be small forwards.
