No rookie, The collision didn't even affect Shaq.. He's just BSing right now.. from the replay, Chuck Hayes should be the one out for 3~4 weeks(just to be safe). Two weeks seems like rushing it.. It looked bad :(

probably was a minor injury at first but he played through it and now needs surgery.

Ya know, it just occurred to me that since Chuck's injury, we've blown big leads late in the 2 games we've played.

Maybe that's an indication of how good he is to us!

The big guy already had tons of wear on that knee. Besides, if something like that hits just right, things happen. Heck, if nothing hits anything just right, things happen. Look at what ended Barkley's career. A freak thing, right out of nowhere. I suppose Hayes is lucky. It did really look bad. The Heat, not lucky at all. By the time Shaq gets back in action, he'll probably weigh another 25-30 lbs.

Possibly there are ulterior motives and Shaq is not injured but is taking time off to get fitter ! He could have been motivated to do this by the fact that Yao showed that he [Shaq] is no longer the leading Center in the NBA. The bang up with Hayes provided a legitimate cover to take time off.One never knows about these things:p

Hope Chuck gets well soon, cause JHoward don't have the hussle and the knack for rebounds like Chuckie. Plus JHoward is slow now and can't defend well. Oh and JVG don't play the other rooks so we don't have any other option right now.

but they have a hard time building big leads without Chuck against lesser teams. maybe they should play without Chuck, get a big lead, and then play him. :D

being that juwan howard is one of the most POINTLESS players at the power forward position, I hope chuck hayes gets healthy fast. watching juwan play now makes me wonder he he was ever good. he cant rebound, has no athletic ability, doesnt block shots, no steals, no assists..............lmao and he was smart by playing on garbage a** teams his whole career so he can shine and earn that RIDICULOUS contract he now has. atleast chris webber can blame his rapid fall to SCRUBBERY on microfracture surgery........i think microfracture surgery would make juwan BETTER...........LOL

MORAL OF THE STORY: GET WELL SOON CHUCK!!!!!!

Juwan Howard is the reason God created Chuck Hayes.

    He showed us some mercy.

Dang there was a google ad for Michigan accident lawyers on the page when I got here. I wrote down the number and will forward it to Van Gundy. I think he has a good case to win some money - cause he got run over by Flip and the Pistons. :D

I was extremely surprised that Hayes managed to take down Shaq. I mean, an undersized PF taking down the 7-1, 300 lbs Shaq? Unheard of! Great job Chuckie!

and people are still arguing that Novak shouldn't play and that JHO is the best choice after Hayes' injury...

does JVG even look at the freakin stats??

play Bonzi SF, Mac SG, and Shane PF, and give Novak some minutes...

If he went 0-4 at attempted robbery for some sunglasses, I would say that's some news.

If he went 0-4 FGA, same ole same ole Juwan!
