All Defense Team and/or MIP TBH. These days when I see Chuck on the floor, I no longer consider him an offensive liablity. He's more of a threat than say JHill and his free throws have improved tremendously. His Defense is solid per the usual. Besides Defesnse, his put backs, quick slices to the rim and second chance rebounds are huge. That right there is what win you games.

He is the only all around player the team has.

Chuck doesnt get enough credit, I for one didnt give his due early on but he has really elevated his level of play and I'm glad he proved the doubters (myself) wrong.

Dude - Chuck Norris being in the same sentence as the one and only Chuck Hayes is just plain wrong.

Though he is no doubt deserving, no chance of that happening as long as the rockets play such horrific defense as a team.

As evidenced by last night's 4th quarter, we are capable of much better defense...

What kind of contract are you willing to give Chuck next year?

A quarter here or there doesn't mean anything. And we're talking about the Clippers here, a team that was missing its leading scorer and not exactly an offensive juggernaut at full strength either.

We are pathetic as a team defensively and I don't see the potential to be much better with this current personnel.

Seriously guys, lets not overrate Chuck, he is a good to elite defender(depending on matchups), but you guys are praising him like a star - lets see how he does up against these big fronlines coming up- something tells me he won't fare as well...

On positive note; Chuck's play of late has given him value, contender willl be knocking on his door on July 1st - so we should trade him now for draft picks.. no reason to overpay for a 6'6 center-

I wouldn't mind trading Chuck to a contender this season, but the Rockets better have another solid defender in mind if they do so.

There is ONLY ONE problem with Chuck and its not his offensive game. Its his height. If Chuck was 7 feet, he would be on $10-12 mill per year, a 35 MPG starter on any team in the NBA.

For all his awesome defense, being 6'6 just isnt going to intimidate anyone from attacking the rim. He can never be that enforcer we so desparately need.

That said, Chuck is the best 6'6 PF/C in the entire history of the entire universe. There has never been and never will be another 6'6 PF/C like Chuck Hayes.

I would love nothing more than having Chuck retire for the Rockets after a long-healthy career.

Chuck is a beast, grabing 10+ rebounds in some games at 6'6, to go along with his PF defensive stopper. Wouldn't want to trade the Wagon, every team needs a player like the wagon if they want to compete in the playoffs.

Trade Chuck for a super late 1st rounder? They're going to have to sweeten the deal if they want the Wagon.

Wow you mean Chuck can't take on two 7 footers by himself? HES CLEARLY A BAD PLAYER DERRRP.

Anyway, we need to trade Scola for a center, badly.

Chuck should be the 2011-2012 Defensive Player of the Year OR Most Improved IMHO.

Hayes has improved so much on offense this year, it's surprising. Look at his free throws for God's sakes! Would you ever have expected anyone who once shot FT's the way Barkley hits golf balls to all of a sudden go 75% through a whole year?!

Didn't he shoot that way in college? And I heard that he shot them very well in practice too. It was some sort of weird mental thing, I think.

He is probably our MVP at this point. A defensive nightmare and very servicable offensively.

He's been my favorite Rocket for a while and the best value on the team. I can't say enough good things about him. Morey better hold on to him as he fits in no matter what the plan is.
