Why the hell are you guys talking about Vince Young? We have a Pro Bowl-quality QB... with a junior high school level O-line. God Himself would probably be scrambling for His life behind that unit...

Palmer is DEFINITELY Capers fall guy.Capers is one of the best when it comes to building a franchise, but not the coach who will take you to the promised land....way too conservative.
I am absolutely dead set AGAINST firing Casserly.Bosselli's injuries really set our O line back years.(in fact both lines need help)That said, with Capers gone and a healthy line, the Texans should be fine.
I still like the Buchanon deal even though he is lost right now.
Carr should be a Pro Bowler in the next couple of years.
I know it's tough to watch now,but Casserly DOES know what he's doing.
This is the time where we need to have some extra patience while Dom is given the maddening obligatory time before he gets the axe.

I listened to him on 610 on the commute home; he repeated almost exactly what he said after the Buffalo loss. He has no concrete answers, just a bunch of empty excuses...

"oh our guys really went out there and competed"
    "those things are correctable"
"We need to get back to the fundamentals"
"Pittsburgh is a very good team"

Same story different week. Time to go Capers; you lost your team.

    This is very good news.

I'm tired of seeing that quick screen pass play to a wide-out. Been seeing that play for years, and you know what... it sucks.

Is it possible that the offense will get even worse now?

When we fire Dom, let's bring Palmer back...I want to see what kind of offense he would actually like to be running.

They need better players. Only Houdini can come up with an offensive scheme with this rag-tag line.

To their credit... they did have won that worked the first 6 weeks of last year... but of course, after other teams scouted it, they were stuck.

Talent talent talent... we got none up front, and you won't win ANY games without that.

Palmer is the scape goat. Capers is the root of this problem.

How about we get June Jones and Jerry Glanville back from Hawaii. June would bring back the run and shoot, and Jerry would bring back those tix for Elvis at the door.

Eh, n/m... you need an even better O-line than average to run the run and shoot.

What i don't understand is the fact that Palmer was a run and gun Offensive coordinator. Now under Capers making the final decision it have become way too conservative and it sucks. I reallyy think Palmer is ending up the scape goat and Capers should have been the one to go. He is the reason why the plays are called the way they are not Palmer...im sure Capers goes ahead and changes the players before they ever go to Carr.

Palmer's taking the fall, but neither he nor Capers made a real effort to adjust to the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Despite a D- O-Line, they continue to stay with plays (runs inside the tackles and pocket passing) that neccesitate strong blocking and were too conservative to use plays (bootlegs, pitches, quick outs or slants) that would minimize the handicap up front.

Capers won't be here come January.

Inventing a scapegoat will not improve this team: prediction, the Texans will be blown out by the Bengals. Then what?
