I don't think expirings were POOR sellers. I actually think teams with them valued them higher than usual and thus hung on to them tightly. With the economy the way it is, teams aren't really looking to take on more salary.

It's been legitimately reported that the Cavs offered Pavolacic (sp) and Ben Wallace for Shaq and then the Suns countered with a "we want Wally's big ass expiring" and then the Cavs went "no way we want to save that money".

So I guess it's all anecdotal, but I think the Rockets won't have a problem moving T-Mac next year.

I would rather say JVG era is finally done. In fact, the nature of the whole thing is that Tmac was brought here for JVG's system but not for Adelman's system, so did Rafer. Many fans hate Tmac now because they think Tmac was hurting the rockets. Actually, it is only because Tmac is not suitable for Adelman's system. This is just like that JVG traded SF for Tmac 5 years ago after he became the rockets' coach.

As a rockets fan, I hope Adelman's system can be sucessful here. I also wish Tmac all the best for the rest of his career.

That little comment drove me crazy at every game. Every time I've heard it I just sit there thinking....we're still waiting! I'm so glad it's gone.

"I'm just looking forward to something great happening in the city of Houston, and believe me something great IS going to happen!"

Way to back up your words Tracy.

You sure it's the coaches and not Tracy's body getting old?

No. Tmac is only 29 years old. I believe he will shine in other coaches' systems. He is doing the best thing that he can do for the rest of his career right now. And, that is what he should be doing.

He's getting in on talking about the significance of the coaching change. We should not forget that a JVG-coached Rocket team rarely won games without T-Mac.

It's too bad that T-Mac couldn't play within the offensive system of Coach RA's.

not saying that he didnt, but most of the time feigan would probably busy doing other things like preparing questions, frame work for any of his articles than to be busy watching all the videos and player intros that he can see at least 41 times a season.

I cant speak to what Feigan does at the home games, but at least on the road games he has always looked really busy before and of course after the game.

i would lean more towards that someone in the rockets staff mentioned to him, maybe just off hand you know. maybe they didnt tell him exactly what they did but probably just said we changed the intro video a bit.

    Are you being sarcastic??

Tmac sucks this year no doubt, but i still be proud of wearing that jersey of his. Yes, he is a playoff loser but for me it does not negate his entire accomplishments.

I don't think it's because they've "already moved on." My guess is that they know how some (most?) of the fans feel about him nowadays and they didn't want the home crowd booing a home-team player before the game even starts.

I doubt he watches that intro at all anymore.......I mean he goes to every game, he is probably doing his job and watching the players.

    Clearly someone told him.

He doesn't need to watch the video to know something changed. The silence after the part where Stern announces that we draft Yao is noticeable. I mean that video has been up for a couple of seasons now and even if you don't watch it a change like that would make you look up.

If you watch this video of the trade from Orlando involving T-Mac, it would explain it all as to why he should be edited out of the pregame video. You mainly need to go up to its 3:45 mark to get to the John Weisbrod part where he discusses trading him.

When I first saw this video last November, those comments John Weisbrod made about T-Mac pretty much stuck to my mind for much of this season.

They 'Steve Francised' him. In the 41 years of tradition, the Steve Francis era ( when he was with cuttino) was omitted.

They went from Barkley straight to Yao Ming then Tmac

It doesn't matter who was coaching the team it was a trade anyone would have made to bring a top 5 NBA talent (McGrady) to the Rockets. Don't try to blame JVG for Tracy's lack of heart.

I'm not even sure your post was serious.

I don't blame JVG because I never thought Tmac is lack of heart.

I'm guessing that for the current version, they might edit out Bonzi, Mike James, and Steve Francis as well?

Where does the song from the intro come from?

I want to say it's from Armageddon but can't place it.

I think TMac has played his last game as a Rocket.
