Yup people are overreacting big time. A lot of people on here don't even make sense. They act like T-mac has never played on a injury before.

This is probably ture! At least, some fans follow the rockets for many years, and the rockets games are very important to them. In fact, this is the reason why nba games are so popular and the players can earn a lot of money.

They way the fanbase has been treating T-Mac, now the local media, would it be surprising if T-Mac asked for a trade after the season?

Well if the Rockets is the only thing someone has going for them in their life then they need help.

We are all huge Rockets fans. I mean that's why we are here, and "put up" with each other's very different opinions.

But the NBA and the Rockets are a form of entertainment. If it dictates your life, you need to take a step back and reevaluate.

Fans are customers. Since they paid good money, they have rights to complain if products are not worth the money.

btw, it seems for SOME tmac fans, Tmac is the only thing someone has going for them in their life.

Do you think there are Rocket fans anywhere that are NOT frustrated that we can never seem to go a season without injuries to our best player(s)?? Or do you think only the TMac haters are the ones who are frustrated?

We are ALL frustrated that TMac can't play 82 games every year. It's just that some of us choose to look past our frustration and use logic and common sense; whereas some of us just want to rip him a new one no matter what.

What's ironic is that the people here b****ing about him missing 10-15 games in December would be going APE **** if he decided to play, then injured himself and was lost for the year. These are the same people who would cry that he should have taken some time off instead of being so stubborn and playing through his injury.

You can't have it both ways.

You also reserve the right to not pay money to watch them. Don't just blindly pay money for what you deem a bad product. See how things seem to work both ways sometimes?

The problem is that they paid money already.

    Of course, no next time!

That's not the issue though. It appears that the second opinion he got conformed to the first opinion--that T-Mac should play his way back into shape.

Now you have a situation where a player is disagreeing with medical staff with the goal of taking himself out of games. That doesn't look good no matter how you want to play it.

Don't pay then. The last few years coming into a season everyone knew injuries are expected. Y'all act like T-mac is 100% healthy and deciding not to play.

BTW judging by a lot of post on this board I wonder do some of these people spend any money watching the Rockets considering most of the post deal with people who sound like they read the boxscore every game instead of actually watching it.

Once again, they paid already! The point for the chronicle action is that Tmac is still taking money from the customers!

Watching the games, as I'm sure you did, it's really hard to say he was why we lost. I mean you can point to his sub-par 4th quarters of last year's series, but that's really about it. You can't overlook everything else. So it's not so pointless.

What part of coming into the season "You knew injures was a possibility" don't you get?

I'm from South Carolina, 2 years ago I went up to Atlanta to catch a Rockets game when T-mac and Yao didn't play. If you like the Rockets then it shouldn't matter about what players are injured. If you want to buy tickets to a game where everyone is healthy then I would suggest you not buy season tickets.

Man that's like chipping in 5 bucks on a 1000 dollar gift. Just keep your 5 bucks, we don't need it.

The guys that really have a lot invested in the man, can complain. The rest of us are fans, with the choice to pay to support them. If you already paid, you knew what you were paying for. It really shouldn't surprise you too much.

That's the point though--he's been medically cleared to play. In fact the suggestion of both physicians he's seen is that he play himself back into shape.

He's arguing with both medical opinions he's gotten with the goal of not playing games.

Do you think Hakeem faked everything? Not just the constant fluttering heart. Remember pre-titles when the media and owner was bashing Hakeem, and he ended up with a clogged artery (i think) in his leg and had to wear a leg sleeve, eerily similar to JR Richard, and the media immediately backed off him and apologized. That's what I assume Happy Mac was talking about, if not JR Richard.

I didn't really have a take on that, other than remember thinking if you were to fake an injury, using the JR Richard injury will shut everyone up, quick. Do you think that was faked.

Wasn't T-Mac the guy who said "Where do you want it to hurt?" in Orlando? From what I recall he basically admitted to faking injury there to get out of playing.
