Who asked you ( or us) to do all those things? Why don't you sit at home and watch the game on tv? huh?

We know he came into camp overweight. That much we know but you are right about the rest just be speculation. However, when a dude says he rehabbed his butt of over the summer yet he comes in fat that tells me he is probably lying. Couple that with him saying something different than the team is saying about his knee and it looks like he has a problem telling the truth.

I know a lot of people say that he couldn't stay fit because of the knee but just look at every other player who has come back from summer surgery. Most of them come in looking better than ever.

how is he overweight? and yet he's not tired from playing against the most athletic and well-conditioned athletes in the world? i don't get it.

if tracy was overweight, he would have been gassing for air in the first few games. nobody saw that. he played more minutes than before he shut it down.

does anybody know what he weighed in as this year? he weight 220 last yr. he couldn't get bigger than that.

Regardless if the chronicle has turned on McGrady is irrelevant. As proven in last years playoffs the missing link was our 7 foot 6 center. Yao being healthy is the key to the rockets success at this point. The rockets have shown they can win without McGrady this season especially with the addition of Artest. The team plays Adelman's offense much better when TMAC is out of the lineup. They play like a team since the team realizes there is nobody to rescue them with the shot clock running down. I personally want them to feed the ball to Yao more just like they finally fed the ball to Olajuwon in 94 and 95 and guess what the Rockets won 2 championships I think Rudy T was on to something there. The inside out/motion offense works if McGrady is out of the line up. He has to have the ball in his hands to score and that actually hurts the team becuase basically if McGrady has a bad game then the rockets usually don't win. In conclusion, the Rockets should really think about trading McGrady in the offseason and upgrade the point guard position and get a back up center and of course resign Artest. In my opinion thats the only way the Rockets will be successful.

First, how do you know he was overweight? Any quotes? Any reports? (Or did you just look at some pics? LOL) Second, he was rehabbing his knee, not his whole body. What does that have to do with being in shape?

He is 215 right now. Saying Tmac is overweight is like saying LeBron is overweight because he weighs 265. Overweight would cause him to breathe heavily and be gased out. It doesn't show on the court because he has numerous explosive nights LATE in games.

Steve Francis was overweight in his top performing Phx game last year. I bet you couldn't tell though.

By reading comments on this article, it seems like fans are turning on Tmac instead. Whether you fans like it or not, he's our guy right now along with Yao and Artest. I admit I hate hearing about Tmac being injured but this guy doesn't need his fans to turn on him just because he's been injured for a number of times. No offense but people always tend to look at the bad things instead of the good things he's done for us. Tmac is Tmac, the same guy who everyone was hyped about coming to Houston. Just show him some support.
