    I couldnt agree more. lol

Adelman just seems afraid of lowering Tmacs and Artest minutes. The man needs to grow a spine and soon.

Artest took the same shots against Pistons as he did against the Knicks. Only difference is he was hot against the Pistons early on. Whether their jumpshots are falling is usually the difference between a bad game for Ron Ron and T-mac.

ive got so much respect for rafer right now for telling it how it is. having played with both units, the ball stoppers (tmac and artest) and the ball movers (wafer and barry), he must be the 1 guy that is incredibly frustrated, especially now that the ball stoppers are back. i wonder...if rafer was the coach, who would he play every night?

is that what you got when i said he's part of the problem? really? when did i ever say he's not the best pg on this team? he's the best pg by default, francis sucked, brooks is almost a liability, and who the hell else do we have.

just because he's our best option doens't mean he gets some sort of pass, he's calling mac/artest out for dominating the ball too much when he's not moving the ball either, he's come off picks the past two games not even looking to pass, only if scola rolls to the basket, otherwise, he hasn't even looked to pass the ball to either tmac or artest too. yea they dominate the ball, and deserve to get called out (specially artest, at least mcgrady has some sort of rep in the league and past role on this team) but alston calling them out is kind of laughable since aside from passing to scola on the pick and roll, he's literally refused to pass coming off the pick.

i mean if the team just plays d we wouldnt have to worry bout them having to take bad shots... thats what players who are used 2 scoring at will do, they take shots like that cuz they are used to them going in... its not like the shots they were taking were bad, they just werent falling...

rolled his ankle against the celtics a week ago and that's been bothering. he's averaging 21 pts this season. carter can play team ball, off the ball. maybe playing alongside kidd for several seasons helped him do that.

true. and that's where it makes me mad. if we only need a couple of jump shooters, we could've had better choices at a better price...

Rafer said what all of us are saying here everyday. He even said they were lazy.

Lebron and Kobe can have good games when their jumpers or not falling? Why?

Because they go to the basket and finish or get to the free throw line. Also create for their teammates.

T-mac creates for his teammates but he hasn't been going to the basket consistently.

Artest drives every now and then but doesn't get others involved.

The only person who drove tonight was Aaron Brooks and the result was basically rejection.

i dunno about this, artest is a very good shooter when his feet are set. he allowed others to create for him to get open looks and that got his whole game going. if he does anything besides spotting up or getting deep in the block, he's hurting the offense because he's a mediocre ball handler, and below average in terms of getting a good shot. against the pistons, nearly all the threes he made were WIDE open, this game it was constant dribbling and fadeaway three pointers that had no chance with a man in his face.

I thought he took some tough shots in the Pistons game just like the Knicks game. Actually both games he got open shots too. Tonight he was just off though even when he was open. The big problem is when T-mac and Artest are both off but still taking bad shots.

Yet another example of how the Reefer Madness continues to bamboozle us.
He shot 1 for 7 from 3 point land with 2 assists and 2 turnovers.

wow! and then the gall to even comment ... on with the Madness

Why would anyone seek or even take seriously his opinion about anything?

i just re-watched the game. in no way can rafer alston be talking this mess when he did his own thing a lot too.

he did his own thing before too when tracy and artest were out and he was making shots so it was good. he can be a pretty good playmaker.

again, we just gotta get more practice time with tracy and artest and the entire team. the offense took off when the team got more practice time when tracy and artest rested.

now we gotta practice with these 2 guys and try to find ways to make this offense work. it can work as shown in detroit. and we gotta do it more consistently.

hopefully yao will be back v. philly.

You have got to be kidding me. What was rafer's statline for tonight? 1-7 for three. The guy obviously has a big mouth and likes to use it, but maybe he should try practicing what he preaches first, he's just as guilty as Artest and Tmac of hogging the ball and taking ill advised shots
