I think you are right. He jsut doesn't fit with the team. WHich team will want Arest and have players who fit our system? Maybe see if the Net's will make a move giving us Vince Carter. Just an idea of the top of my head.

The other will be easier to trade next year as he is expiring...if necessary.

It's up to Adelman to do something about it. I don't know if he has behind closed doors and it hasn't worked but something must be done.

Either Adleman must confront these two and get them to run his system.

Or one of them should be traded.

No way this offense will ever be consistent with both playing the way they do, especially Artest on the offensive end. At least T-mac can get others involved.

Tmac for VC would make us contenders, and we'd also be free from the 1st round curse.

This board would probably be frustrated with VC just like his cousin. Just a week ago he was averaging 7.3 pt. his last 3 games.

yep, his mentality is similar to tmac, if he got put on a team with artest/yao too he'd take a backseat..

I agree, now someone needs to tell Adelman.

Carter never had a good team to make a deep run in the postseason, but even he made it past the first round on multiple occasions. And Vince is by far more clutch, and a better scorer at this point than broke back Mcgrady.

    Why? He's telling the truth.

Also I'm guess that the rest of the team is thinking the exact same thing. They just haven't said it...yet.

Artest and Tmac play way too many isolations. We're missing the ball movement when they were out.

sometimes i have exactly the same feeling, especially when i am frustrated like tonight.

a part of me tells me mcgrady is a rare talent, but the other part of me tells me otherwise as follows -

the big picture is, our chance to win a championship right now depends on if we can construct a yao-centric team before yao's peak passes us by in a few years or before his huge body fails him (knock on wood). assuming we're not firing adelman any time soon, then BOTH #1 and #96 will have to go if they keep playing like tonight. whom to trade with, when to trade, and what we can get back in return, etc. will depend on morey's magic.

by speaking to feigen like that, rafer is not helping the course - even though what he said was 100% true. i sense another wave of turmoil is coming; and if we don't do something definitively, this season will once again be a disappointment to the fans.

artest may not fit this team. i appreciate his ability, his passion, and his strength but he's a chucker and a ball stopper.

wafer has earned more minutes this season, but i'll wait till i see the full lineup with yao before i really pass judgment. wafer is quicker to the bucket and has a better shot than artest, plus he doesn't have the mindset to be a chucker, yet. he might be a better fit even with yao.

with tracy and ron back, he doesn't get the ball as much so he can freelance with his tear drops so he's pissed.

i already conceded he was better now? reading is comprehension. . .

and tmac has had a great team to make a run in the post-season? he's never advanced yea, but his orlando teams were ****, and in houston with bunch of injuries, no excuse in 2007 though, agreed with that, but carter wouldn't have done any better. carter is a better "game winning" shooter, but clutch, meaning last 2-4 minutes of a ball game, he's not better, he prefers being the 2nd guy, if carter is on these teams instead of mcgrady past two seasons we dont even win 50 games.

who has carter had to play? the raptors? please, he's in the east. tmac was in the east too but he never played with a caliber of kidd or even harris/jefferson with orlando.

    please..

mcgrady is so much better than carter it's ludicrous. he hasn't been this season but he will be before it's over.

give me what u are smoking.....i don't wanna DO it....it clearly has a bad effect, but would love to sell it, cause it must be strong....he's the BEST point guard this team has had in YEARS..........yes, i said it, YEARS (haha, can get away with it, lol, cause i didn't say HOW many years....i guess Franchise would have been better, but when was the last time we had a PURE point other than rafer?????????????? long before i was a rockets fan, lol....B sura was nice, but not a player that will get the ball moving....EVERYONE knows that when he was here, we still had the issue of needing a good point guard...him and rafer were similar...except rafer's probably wayyyyyyyyy quicker....and better at ball-handling...and did i mention durability??
