Agreed he's like Haslem. Landry may be slightly better offensively but is a much worse defender. Both guys are scrappy hustlers. With experience and savvy, I guess Landry could become a comparable defender to Haslem.
Stupid logic. Francis was still a sought after commodity by teams, including Dallas and Miami (when they still had Shaq, and were considered a title contender). The Francis move was a B because it was a low-risk, high-reward proposition.
Has anyone seen the ESPN Sportsnation poll? Should the Rockets match the 3 year, $9 million offer made to Carl Landry by the Bobcats 44% Yes 56% No Every state except Texas, Wisconsin and Indiana voted NO.
No the francis move was a F cause it was a guaranteed failure with 0% chance of success. Only the delusional francis fans thought otherwise. It was not a surprise what happened with francis last year and was the most sure thing in the nba last year.
Nothing in life is guaranteed especially in this game they call basketball, you might have heard of it?
kinda funny because he was born in wisconsin, went to college in Indiana, and currently plays for a team in Texas, so that's probably why. but I'm just glad to have him back now finally...
You're obviously aware that before his injury he had worked his way into the starting lineup, and even hit a game winning shot? What a shame he got injured - but unless you're saying that he was 100% guaranteed to get injured and miss most of last season, I fail to see the point you are making? Seems like you're another oddbod trying to write a revisionist history... the only problem is that the history is there and someone got an F - but it wasn't Steve Francis (it was you in case you didn't pick that up)
No this was guaranteed. Two things were going to happen once he got signed. One, he would play and be totally ineffective and just show how washed up he really is. Two, he would get injured, cause his body is so broken down right now, he's a shadow of his former self, healthy or not. One of these scenarios was guaranteed to happen 100%. It just so happened that both happened last year.
Great news! .. I was off a few days and this good news came. When did the Bobcats offer Landry and if so, the rockets did respond very quick.
According to Morey the knee was checked out and "looks great". He said there could be issues off and on with it.
Hitting a game winning shot is ineffective huh? Thats a W according to stats. I'm a late Rockets fan so SF3 isn't my favorite top 3...4...etc Rocket player but I hope this dude makes a dif this season so everyone will laugh at you and your future postings and have no credibility. There's only one unity that I know that can foretell 100 percent guarantee's and your not he. ^^^hahahhaha^^^
Look where he is at and look where SF3 is at....someone knows something you don't know. So now that Landry is resigned can you open say that your his agent? Are you Buddy? Hmm hmmm?
