You responded with some sarcastic BS that made it sound like the people just saw a Muslim name and assumed terrorist. I pointed out there was some additional info.

As for your question, you are the one that was stupid and possibly racist but I have no idea based on this thread alone. Also I am not sure WTF you are talking about with the conservative jab as I don't really see a conservative/liberal argument here.

 

So because I didn't assume that a muslim sounding name and a coincidence was supporting terrorism, i'm a stupid racist.

I guess that's the problem with actually learning about other people's cultures and not jumping to conclusion until you have all the facts - that makes you some kind of commie liberal who hates America right?

I truly think what is happening is actually the last grasp of right wing fanaticism in this country. You're a dying breed my friend...and your last grasps are the past, not the future, of America. This country is great because of courageous people....like people with Muslim sounding names who aren't afraid to practice their beliefs and be intimidated by the weak and cowardly.

They came here because they admired our values. They practice our values - hard work, dedication, and melting in. Yet the people who claim to be patriots behave more like the radical imams and Jihadists then the guys living here. The irony makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

Not to condone the actions of these idiots who are harassing the guy, but his decision pretty much made the consequences clear. It's sad, but hardly unrealistic.

I kind of think of it as some guy in GARM talking about how perhaps Tim Duncan is better than Hakeem, or how any current Rocket is better than a Rocket from the championship generation. Even if you say something logical and relevant, even if you make sense, you're going to be flamed and a bunch of posters(with tinman leading the way) will talk about how you're not a "real Rockets fan".

 

The guy brought this on himself. There was no need for giving people a reason as to why he was closed that day.

No. You are stupid because you disregarded the other factors in the letter and made it sound like the only factor was a Muslim sounding name.

 

Sorry, the other factors don't prove anything - it's all circumstantial and in the U.S. we're suppose to be about facts, not innuendo and stereotypes...at least that's the way I choose to live. You're "factors" doesn't excuse your racism.
