Does that mean like, he's making less than 3.7 mil now? I'm still doubting him coming for a mere MLE though... REALLY doubting. Fat chance.
I'd rather offer the entire MLE to Sam I am or Matt Harping. Bonzi, if he'd take it. MJ would be last, but still on the list. One thing we don't know about was his team chemistry when he was here. Do the players want him back???
mike james is awesome and all, but i dont think we should use our mle on him, cuz we could use our mle for someone more useful like wells or maggette, i would love mike james to come back but through a sign and trade with jho/rybo/and maybe even 2nd round pink, cuz i'd rather split our mle to get deng and VSPAN, and then maybe draft aldridge if we get a high pick.
Dude, if this all happens, then we'd might as well trade RyBo for Lebron. Heck, everything you said is impossible, to put it this way. Wells is not coming for less than 800 mil, so don't even think about it. You want to tade crap for James? Well then, good for you. And Deng won't come even if we offer our entire MLE, most likely. You must be kidding big time.
Both game sevens last night were making the case over the top for signing Mike James. Dallas' and Phoenix's foot speed, quickness, and shooting were off the charts.
Yea, alot of big time footspeed out there last night. Guys like Rondo will probably move up in this draft because of it. The Spurs big men have very little athletism and that was exploited through out the series.
I would like to see James in Rocks uni next season, but what we really needs is to beef up our back-up center. If we can't get J.J. Riddick, then we definitely need James at 2 spots.
I saw MIke James twice last week in my school.. he was giving an "inspiration" speech for students and he called Houston home more than once.. he is holding a basketball summer camp in my school too.. I think we gonna get him next year..
Hi guys. Newly registered here, but i've been a "lurker" for the past year already Anyways, I have my doubts as to whether we can get James back because: 1. He's gonna ask for more than the MLE 2. He's gonna want to start 3. He's gonna want at least 4 years (and he's 31 already) 4. He's undersized Plus, we've all heard that TMac and Yao don't really like his style of play... I agree that we're starved for scoring, and that he's a firecracker who could jumpstart our offense, but I think there are more negatives than positives here...
The point is, he would be more suited to being the 6th man. We already have 2 offensive superpowers in Yao and TMac starting, do we really need another scoring starter, only to have our second stringers flounder offensively because no one is picking up the slack?
I'd rather the Rockets offer Cassell a four year contract with only two years guaranteed. They could entice him with a coaching position after he retires from the game.
How can you say you have doubts about getting him back when HE SAID IT HIMSELF HE WANTS TO BE BACK... It's the Rockets decision. 1.He knows the most he can get is a MLE since that's all the Rox have. 2.He is good enough to start... 20+ points last season? 3.Tmac said he missed his style of play. 4.Who cares? He is better than anyone on the team besides Yao and Mac..
I really like sam, but i doubt he has much left in the tank. it was obvious that that sam ran out of gas in the suns series, and was a huge liability on D.
