The key to beating the Warriors is ball movement , and playing smart, team ball . We've done it in stretches . We need to be mentally locked in to move the ball and communicate on defense .

I'll take turnovers if they come as a product of gambling for easy offense in certain situations . We actually turn the ball over more when we play selfishly .

Discipline is an ok word for it . Focus is probably a better word . The rockets aren't completely undisciplined . We don't gamble on offense that much . We don't have a lot of turnovers going for Hail Mary fast break attempts , we don't really gamble for bad steals all that much .

What kills us is our lack of focus and commitment to playing good team ball . We go in and out of moving the ball around on offense and communicating on d. When we do those two things we are a very good team . Some of it corresponds to energy and getting your body moving ( why the coach loves brew) but a lot of it is just being in the zone and a moving the ball quickly and making decisive action .

When harden gets the ball on the move off the catch , when Howard runs the floor and we zip a pass to him 2 feet from the hoop . When we run pick and roll with Dmo and he quickly and under control reads the d and fires a pass for a 3 or goes to the rim to score . This is when we are at our best . Our second unit did this a lot last playoffs . Smith making great AND simple passes . Brewer running the floor , terry always in the right spot offensively . We just haven't done it consistently this year . These last two games against bad teams , we've done it pretty well . This is why I've got a little hope . Not becuase we beat them , not even becuase of by how much we beat them , but how we played .

If we can maintain focus and bring a teamwork , communicating , and moving the ball mindset we can play at our best , our best is quite good .

Rox obviously can't afford a slow start or loosing by 10 by halftime

For the Rockets to get unexpected results of winning, they have to do something that's unexpected- not playing Brewer and Terry for the most part. Play McDaniels and Goudelock instead.
