    Well,
I've been watching the Rockets for a long time now, and it really seems that Cato is so happy is because he is the "center" of attention. He's getting the start...the time. If we get someone to oversahdow him again...IE anybody......he will go right back to Cry Baby Cato. With his skills he is a great back up center when he is not pouting.....but he is not and will never be a starting center........

    what ya think

    Rockfan4ever,

Cato will be a starting center in two weeks. He is defitely starter quality...the level of quality is debatable, but he is better than most centers in the game and better than atleast 4 starting centers.

I think he could be a top 10 center (barely) if he plays.

maybe and thats a big maybe.....he is top ten quality.....but thats only when he is 100%-top notch-grade A-best which is not going to happen often if at all....he does have qualities that if on any other guy could be developed into a starting center but after watching Cato sulk last year and fake injuries so he wouldnt have to play....sitting on the bench sucking up that enormous bloated salary......which just makes me sick. I like the guy I honestly do....but we, as in Houston fans, turn quickly. He has one bad game and get one boo....he'll start being "last year" Cato.....tell me why this year is so different than last year....its not that we need him now cuz we really needed him last year with all the injuries. Im just not falling for this act he is putting on....I truly belive he wants to put an effort out there......but as soon as he is discouraged......we have no one else to fall back on. Hence everything comes crashing down.........

I think Cato is finally ready to earn his paycheck. With all this early injuries, I hope the rockets could stay healthy all through the entire season. Everybody seem to be playing good, but not as hard as Oscar Torres, this guy is going to be something. I like how things are going and hope we make the playoffs!

Ike Nwanko offers just as much as those other stiffs that are out there. We might as well save money and just keep Ike as the 2nd or 3rd center. If they are so desperate for a center, I'm most sure Montross or Tabak can be had for little or nothing. Does anyone no why Montross fell so quick. He was solid as a rookie, then it seems like he just took the sorry pill. Thomas Hamilton is "only" 300lbs also. :D
