It is obvious that Rafer Alston is the curse. whenever anyone is showing the sign to be able to take Rafer's minutes a little bit, that guy is going to be hurt (AB, SF), traded (James, BJ), or quit from NBA (VSpan, JLIII). So far, Head is the only one that can survive the curse because as crap as he is, he is safe to Rafer. Now I am worried Barry.
This is getting ridiculous. All that excitement from the offseason is starting to wear off and now I'm just hoping that we get through the first month relatively unscathed, nevermind getting to 22-3 or something like that. How can there be so many damn injuries in the friggin preseason?
what will probably happen is rafer will play 36mpg. leaving only 12 minutes for reserves. luther can handle 6 minutes in each half at the one with either tmac or barry handling the ball. barry won't see any minutes at the one (probably) until shane comes back. 'till then, he has to be the primary reserve for tmac and ron at the 2/3.

Steve Francis come on DOOOOWN! This is a minor injury, and AB will be fine. It will not take away from his development, and if anything could wind up being a plus. We'll find out if Francis has anything left in him sooner rather than later. He'll get reps, and AB will heal, and we'll go from there. Do not judge this team on how they are playing in December.
Not very encouraging Oh dear God please no. Back to where he was!? Was there something I missed!? Did he once have handles or court vision or passing ability!? I hope he's talking about his shot, cause the others were non-existant to begin with.
What's with the DJ callings?????? The guy still won't see playing time. Rafer/Barry/Head. And if SF3 can get this life-threatening cold taken care of he MIGHT see some action.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he might play that role more often now. Maybe not because he's not bompletely healthy. I know Brent Barry will be playing PG for sure, so I don't think it's too big of a problem.
I am happy we are doing something different this year and getting our injuries out of the way at the BEGINNING instead of the end. Rick Adelman clearly knows how to coach those injuries. DD
So we are in the same position as last year prior to BJax trade. Let's hope he isn't out too long, I'm really looking forward to AB's speed this year, especially with Landry filling the lanes.
