Chronic: Yes, Yao is tough to officate. But that old answer is not good enough

Exactly, otherwise, some of the refs would be broke. ;)

Probably the most striking thing to me. The bigs are virtually sumo wrestling in the paint for position. I'm sure after the game they're all tattooed w/ cuts and bruises.

And yet if a guard goes into the paint and gets breathed on it's a foul. It's really a joke. The position you play, not the actual play, determines if there's a foul.

Lol. Put Yao out at the 3pt line and have him drive in.

It's not the position. It's the size. That's just plain bad officiating, no matter what the sport. The only legitimate advantage in a sport should be a player more athletic or more physically adept (size). It's not team A's fault it has players better suited to the game than team B. Imagine if a NFL team got unsportsmen like conduct penalties all game simply because the opposing team had smaller dudes...

If they officiate EVERY big man in the league the same way as they do to Yao, I have no complain. But look at T. Duncan and D. Howard, they get so much more favorite calls from the referees. Yao is singled out and that is why it is unacceptable.
