Very true. Not everyone is cut out to adjust another culture, to live away from all the things familiar to him. It looks like he found out the hard way.

Anyway I'm glad the drama's finally over.

Van Gundy screwed him up badly. Oh well V-Span. Enjoy your gyros in Greece.

    I'm both disappointed and angry.

I thought vspan would become our starting PG and a great NBA player. Gotta say sorry to JVG for blaming him for the failure of vspan.

Quoting Leonidas to Ephialtes in 300:

    May you live forever, vspan.

I used to support VSPAN and believe that he could get more opportunity to prove himself under the new coach. But he really disappointed me. I can't believe that he is such a emotional fragile biittch. Oh boy both VSpan and Yi behave like baby, or boy at best. Be a man, a reliable man please.

    Who cares?

    Honestly...

The guy came in as a second round pick and half of this board was ready to put him in the hall of fame before he ever played a single minute. And once he did play some minutes, it was very obvious that the kid just wasn't very good at all!

Let him go. Make him pay back his buyout and sign a non-compete that will not allow him back in the NBA and send his sad ass back to Greece where he belongs. The guy was obviously never meant for the NBA.

What a shame. So many fans aimlessly went to bat for him. Begging, praying, and hoping VSpan could get more time on the floor. Homesick?

I'm sorry VSpan, but that is absolutely the weakest freaking excuse I have ever heard a professional athlete of any sport spew from his/her mouth.

Whatever happened to the age old notion of making a decision and loving with it honorable.

This is like two pro boxers stepping in the ring for a fight, one clocks the other good, and the clocked one says " Hold on wait...gimme a sec."

You cant just quit or pause a fight or an NBA career. What kind of man is he?

In my opinion...he is screwing the Rox...time, money, energy...what else?

So the Rox should scre him. Dont release him. So he cant play for another team...you should thought about this before you started acting like a little bi#$tch/

Exactly as planned! :) A typical sociological study confirms the new generational mindset of the media children.

I don't give two $hits about that guy - none. I don't care if he plays here or not. I don't care if he quits, I don't care if he's a pu$$y, I don't care if he lives with his mom like most of our posters - I just wanted to see what would happen if someone defended him without one iota of regard. So...

    I did...

and what does our survey conclude? When we get a chance to b**** and stab someone, 99% of the time we will b**** and then stab someone. Instant results!

Everything you all said about him, especially the teenagers (rocketsfaninsa, Adelman, Tfor3) is right. He's a pu$$y - so what? The funny thing is that if he changed his mind, you all would be so happy, so proud, circle-jerkin' that he's back, and then, you have 2 scenarios:

    1. - He's back and he's instantly no longer a pu$$y (Kind of like he wasn't 1 week ago but now instantly he is.)

    2. - The Houston Rockets hire, go after, and play pu$$ies!

When Aaron Brooks was picked, not only was HE a pu$$y but Morey was a pu$$Y, right? Uh..no...we didn't uhh....mean that...uh....

VSPAN IS AT BEST average - he was a 2nd rounder - he's marginal - he can't shoot - he's a turnover machine - he whines like a baby - and he can't get on the court in the NBA...but everybody's mad because he's leaving.

Bring the PU$$Y back to Houston! Bring the PU$$Y back to Houston!

Those words should never be uttered unless you're drunk with a sober big girl, sober with a drunk supermodel, or you're a VSPAN hater. Most of you have know idea why you're so mad about losing a pu$$y, do you? You would think you'd encourage him to go. But no, we need him to understand that your word is your word and a contract is binding. Yeah, let's show him. This is America - damnit!

Hi, I'm rocketsfaninsa, Adelman, Tfor3 - we're new posters but we reeeeeally love the Rockets. We've seen every VHS tape of when they won their WORLD championship trophies and we even have shirts from then from EBAY. Go Rockets...and trade VSPAN for Garnett. (And nothing in the world can prevent them from responding to this post - - just like the last one. It's a drug and it can't help but be injected...errr....replied to!)

    C'est la vie.

    VSPAN - - IS - - a pu$$y.

Some of you need to stop trying to bait DD in this. I know he kind of brought this on himself with his borderline trollish behavior toward V-Span and JVG but he has done his time in the corner during his Clutchfans time out. He has also said if V-Span quits like this then he will be more concern with the Rockets than V-Span.

I think people are more poking fun at his fans who said he was going to be an All Star and a Hall of Famer. Also I don't think anyone is asking him to come back and play but come back and sit as some sort of punishment.

Oh, I get it now! You guys are using $'s instead of a certain letter! Now I understand. I broke the secret code! That's really clever, though -- NOBODY will see through that!

    Just kidding. ;)

Hey, LuffDaddy, where are you? I want to hear you defend this guy and lay the blame at JVG's feet again. Obviously, JVG saw the real truth during practice: VMac simply didn't have the requisite talent to be an NBA rotation player, but still wanted a spot handed to him on a silver platter. You know, because he had a couple of good games in an international tournament and all.

I'm not poking at him at all - I'm a big fan of Dakota's. I've been with him on this board for a longggggg time. We don't always see eye to eye but I would never go after a 'veteran' :) Dakota's always cool with me.

I wanted VSPAN to work and I'm not saying that he will NOT be good in the future, I'm just saying right now a great number of people are angered over a proven average at best player.

I emailed Clutch earlier and told him about this thread - it's just a play on people who overreact, that's all. Best of luck to Billy... whatever he does, just make sure we get his KAYSH for a new PF.
