I think keeping Gogi should be our top priority.

Things looked pretty bleak when we lost Lowry, but when Dragic started I think we had a better team. We stole a lot of games we shouldn't have won from a lot of top teams.

He led us through that stretch. The team sees him as a leader and he wants to start and lead a team, which is a great sign of someone who should stick around.

After having backed up Nash in Phoenix, I think he fits his mold.

I think if you can swap Lowry and others for a capable big man that compliments Dragic, we would have a more threatening offense.

Down the stretch this season, we blew a lot of those games because we resorted to shooting bad threes because teams figured that if Scola was double-teamed, we had no inside threat.

If we can lose some of the soft and uncoordinated big men and get some guys that will attack the basket, we'll have a good inside-outside offense again that will lead to more of the open threes.

If we can compliment Dragic, I think our offense will have an identity again.

You mean when we had the hardest schedule in the league? Not when we were losing to PHX and NO.

"Improvement must come 'from within...'" - McHale

    God, make it stop.

    Excuses excuses, every loss counted....

Lowry had a hotspell, but finished this year worse than he played last year, when he won the job from an injured AB.

Maybe he is talking about himself and his rudimentary coaching rotations.

It's not really an excuse, we are expected to beat NO and PHX, not LAC (with Billups) and OKC. I know you're an intelligent enough fan to not bandwagon on players, but you're letting your emotions get the best of you. You're still butt-hurt over AB and when the moment came for you to have an excuse to talk down about Lowry you took it.

Yes the smart business move would be to trade Lowry and resign Dragic, we could net a decent pick/player for Lowry, so it would make the team better as a whole. But to down talk Lowry like he is far inferior to Dragic is nuts.

I get some of the other complaints about McHale, but complaining about the rotations he put out there is ridiculous. It is his best coaching skill IMO...

Dragic > Lowry. I've always been a huge Lowry supporter, but I think his time here in Houston is over. Dragic has more upside IMO. Playing under Nash for a few years does wonders. This guy has a future. I think rebuilding around Dragic would be more beneficial over the long run. He's a more trustworthy point guard for the future.

It's true though, we seem to develop really good point guards then some crap goes down and we have to get rid of them for another great point guard.

Wonder what people will say again if Dragic takes a dive like Brooks or Lowry? People turned on Lowry in a real short period of time.

I've heard this song a couple of years in a row already. All star Ariza, Aaron Brooks the next big thing, Lowry top 5 point guard, or how about we should've been the 2 seed last year?

i think your nuts if you think lowry > dragic. personally i think lowry is bad for rockets. Crying after every single play is really bad to watch as a fan. Talk about all the missed defense assignments he creates because he barking at the ref. This is in every play.. shu shu we dont need you here lowry.

hope it is, top priority cause he'll be that for other clubs as well, Portland, NOH, Phoenix, if the don't re-sign Nash..Houston should have advantage by giving him starting job this year, Portland? who wants to play there anyway and Phoenix traded him, so...
