Who cares? We need a playmaking point guard to space the floor with Yao. If we needed a conventional point guard, I'm sure we would've kept Skip

Umm? Since when is Brooks a playmaking point guard? SMH.

He's more of a shoot first, pass second point guard.

Playmaking would be Lowry's territory. ;)

And again I say that Brooks gets shipped out before February. Later, Aaron.

Who do you think he gets shipped for?

I would love to have Lowry start for us.

Correction: he's more of a shoot first, dribble-dribble second, pass third point guard.

You can start off by offering some sort of resemblance to a decent post? Just a suggestion. I have my opinions which I discussed intelligently, where is yours? Brad Miller said so himself that the Rockets team does not yet grasp Adelman's system and when he played against them, had the urge to tell them what they needed to do. I saw way more of Adelman's offensive system when Lowry took the reigns with the secondary team. Lowry pushed the tempo up court and the other players moved for fast break opportunities and made smart cuts. Players have said that if you are open and running down the court, Lowry will get you the ball everytime. I have not heard anyone say that about AB. When people talk about AB all you hear about is shooting and scoring. When people talk about Lowry, it is how he helps people on the team.

And I am convinced that you have no idea what you are talking about rookie.

Are you freaking serious?!? OK, now it's my turn to say that I'm convinced you haven't watched a Rockets game in your life. First of all, when was AB ever a playmaker. AB is a scorer and it ends there. Secondly, have you SEEN the old Sacremento Kings play? Hint, your starting PG does not look to shoot first nor does he dribble away the shot clock. In a read and react motion offense, the ball moves through constant passes and players move more without the ball than with it.

I'm delighted by the fact that more and more Rockets fans are realizing that Brooks is not a real point guard. Lowry is arguably a better option for us, especially with KMart in the back court.

    Brooks + KMart = Score 45, give up 60

No way Morey will give Brooks more than 6 mil a year. Look to see Brooks flipped for someone else at the end of this season...

We really need a stickied thread explaining to people what a read and react motion offense is. For some strange reason, people seem to think that the offense AB played last year is a read and react offense.

For those of you who misunderstand how motion offense and Princeton offense actually works, please read this first. Just to further clarify; Princeton offense =/= motion offense. Both however do require players to be smart and good at passing for it to truly work.

    .
Its worth saying again...Kyle Lowry is Rafer Alston with muscles. He can't shoot worth a lick.

Aaron Brooks led the league in 3-pointers made. And he has the gene we haven't had in a player since the days of Olajuwon...CLUTCH!
