Chronic: Does character count to the Rockets? What about to you?

    Honestly, do we even have any decent sportswriters here in Houston?

    You can criticize Francis lots of areas, and you can question just how much impact this move has on the team. Sure, there are a lot of potential problems with bringing in Stevie: BB IQ, ability to be a role player, shooting, etc. But how can you question his character and ego? I mean, it shouldn't have even applied back before the T-Mac trade.

    And it certainly shouldn't be the case now, not when Francis the "egotist" decides to bypass teams with thin backcourt and automatic 30 mpg in Miami and Clippers, only to sign with a team that's loaded in his position.

    so are you guys saying that we should ignore an athlete's past? I took Francis' name out of the question on purpose. I'll ask again, is it wrong for the media to consider an athlete's past tansgressions? I think it's legit..
