I don't know how you guys can't not like a 6'9" lotto PF without shoes, 6'10" with shoes. He is a freaken rookie for Christ's sake.

Jordan Hill IS exceptionally quick and fast for his size along with decent post skills.

He's just too weak right now to handle the physicality in the post.

Also, he's relatively new to basketball, having only played organized basketball since his senior year in high school.

Dude there is "ONE" MAJOR PROBLEM w/ this video is that where are the other nine players at...anybody can look good when its just them in the gym...but I haven't seen him play in real life situation but I would rather get someone like Tyrus (6'10" and then prolly draft a big man since alot of them are coming out

There are way more assets out there than Jordan Hill.

It's not like he is Jermaine O'Neal who came in as a high school player and had lots of potential.

He played 3 years of college and is 22. Draftexpress projects him as a Chris Wilcox clone. That's awful. Why would the Rocket's want somebody that can only be a journeyman PF at best? Trading T-mac for a future PF backup is dumb.

Morey could buy 2-3 picks in this draft, like he does every year, and pick up some backup PFs to play with Scola and Landry.

The Rockets will get more talent and/or draft pick from NY. If not, the Rockets will trade for more talent with another team. Chicago and Philly are still in the loop.

Just give it 3 more days.

I don't think Ellis is on the table. The Warriors have stated they are looking for players at the level of Ellis and DD's boyfriend.

New York doesn't have really any other assets that they can provide us with. If they can get a better deal, fine but no other team in the league needs T-Mac more than NY. So you're not going to see other teams willing to part ways with their assets unless we break up our current core. And based on everything that is out there, Morey will no do that.

You seem to the be only poster, who understands, Jordan Hill's value is crap.
I agree that if the Rockets get Jordan Hill to keep. Using him in a 3-way trade is another option.

Why is Jordan Hill a bust all of a sudden? He has only played 10 minutes a game inconsistently in his rookie year.

Where have you been all week?

Other assets can be obtained from NY in a 3 team trade.
There have been rumors all week about Houston and NY discussing 3-team trades.

Thomas isn't 6'10", he's only 6'8" with shoes on. Although he's got great vertical and wingspan to make up for it.

When you wait too long on a deal, the other teams move on to someone else and you end up settling.

Just as I said...you take the first good deal that comes along.

He's a shotblocker/dunker/rebounder nothing more nothing less. He looks too uncoordinated to develop a post up game.
