Your case and Yao's case is very different i quess. First Yao is a top sporter aka in really really good shape. No offense but your name starts with fatty, so that is an important factor in the healing. Second Yao is getting everyday attention and maybe (probably) better doctors fysio etc. Anyway Yao will be ready for the end of the regular season and playoffs. Anyway hope your ankle will be 100% soon.
I would be more worried about Tracy McGrady being oK for the playoffs. The last two games have me concerned.
You live in Orlando? Me too I bought tickets to the game 2 months ago Amway Arena will still be sold out with Tmac in town. Hopefully that will be Yao's first game. If not, he should be back the next week
I am a little disappointed. No big deal. Rockets long term success and Yao's health should be the priority.
hmm, fatty fat b*stard breaking his ankle vs. yao ming, world class athlete, small leg fracture, strictly monitored by doctors and a personal fitness coach. i think the situations are more than slightly different. sorry about your injury though.
NO just go to the ASG and then start it and then go to bench atleast participate!!! damn now amare stoudmire can take yaos spot
forget the game... who cares it is a big show and nothing else... WHY didnt we go after AI... I have a feeling the guy would have loved to come here and defer to both Tmac and Yao... forget the cap and how he plays... if were in the win now mode... we needed to do what it took to get the guy here... with AI I say we would have been a contender... right now... I say we have a outside chance... im hoping we play well enough in the play offs... to impress and get some of the more elite players willing to come over... next year...
Wait... does this mean that Yao won't be at any of the All-Star Weekend events or just miss the game? I'm trying to go to ASW for Yao and TMac, but if there not going to be there, then i might as well save my money.
I don't know if anyone else caught it, but they just interviewed Keith Jones on FSN and he said, "if everything goes well, we hope to get Yao back on the court by mid to late March." So no, he will not be going to All-star weekend.
