Typical Ron Ron. Nothing Ron Ron says will surprise me. But if Ron Ron wants to get pay, I think he has to help the Rockets this season to determine his value. As a Ron Artest fan, I always focus on the basketball part of Artest, instead of what he says and does. As long as he wont go into the stand again, I am fine with Artest. I always think Artest is good person but he needs a lot of anger management. I am a little surprised that it seems either Rick or Morey hasnt spoken to Artest yet. At least T-Mac has called. Alston is also from NY and calls Artest his friend. Alston has no problem understanding Artest's ghetto thing.
artest already said he'll still act his ghetto self on the court and play like he always had. yao needs to accept that is just how artest is (crazy, hard-working, oblivious to whatever when he's on the court). i'm sure artest will tone down his off-court problems and be on his best behavior. but on the court, expect the same crazy artest and that was what artest tried to imply. but i'm sure tracy and alston will calm all these things down. they're tight with artest.

That's a very good point. I think Alston is exactly the guy that should be calling Artest. Yao might not get the message across as clearly because of his less than optimal English.
I should have written,he probably didn't mean any offense but I can understand why Ron would take offense to his words.

I think Blinebury, Feigen and Justice dont like the Artest deal. They always speak of Artest as a bad guy that cant control himself and dont think Artest is worth of the trouble.
Interesting stuff. Yao has developed into a guy who speaks his mind freely. Ron Ron wants a commitment from the Rockets and he isn't even here yet. I think there is a small chance the trade gets called off. Stay tuned. Assuming the trade happens, believe me, this won't be the last public conversation between Yao and Ron Ron. I promise.
