    I don't think that's a good thing.

Adding a 3rd star, but didn't tell the other two stars in advance?!

Does Morey really think this is a minor trade?!

Yao is just being cautious...nothing wrong with that.

There's a big difference between a player coming as a Free Agent and a player being traded to a team.

I don't see how anyone can see this move as anything but a win win. Even if Ron goes nuts, the team is the same as the one that won 55 games last year. He is a scoring threat that makes the defense even better. He'll stay in line this year, and the Rockets will make a deep playoff run.

Yao is speaking what the rockets players really feel!

He is the only one who is qualified to say that. Others all need to worry about themselves won't be traded first.

Ron is a good person with a good heart. He just a little crazy and cant control himself sometimes and let the monster in him out.

I really like Yao, I think he is seeing himself as the leader of the team, maybe for the first time going into a season- of course he realizes he can only lead if he is on the court healthy.

The other thing Yao is from a different culture and is right now involved heavily in representing everything China... I don't think Yao is going to welcome any over the top distractions to the team.

It's probably good that Yao was this open, I suspect Artest and Yao will talk at some point soon and I believe this will really be good for the team because I think Artest will sell himself as ready to lay it all out on the court and show himself to be a professional...

now if he can just back that up, we should be fine. ;)

    I liked both Scola's and Yao's responses.

I can't wait for Ron, Yao, and McGrady to talk about the season. It's important all three are on the same page, eg. see Boston. Training camp, hurry up!

Yao's meaning is very clear! If this trade turns out to be a good one, that will be great! Otherwise, this rockets team is not built for future, and he won't waste his time here anymore.

Honestly, if someone had done to me what detroit fans did to him, I would probably have exactly the same, and perhaps even more, and rightfully so. I think for most part, Ron Artest is mis-understood. He can be a great addition to the rockets. I think the fans will be thrilled and the community will be in for a pleasant surprise. They will love him.

you are becoming annoying...are you a YOH or what? It's a very typical way of thinking for Chinese people to say "step by step", we don't get ahead of ourselves and stay cautious. Is there anything wrong about it?
If you are Yao's agent or maybe Yao himself, which I really doubt, you can say he "won't waste his time here anymore".

I wonder what his girlfriends did to deserve him assaulting them.

I am concerned, maybe I am the only one but to me Yao doesn't seem very thrilled with this trade as TMac is. Yao needs to suck it up and get along with Artest (as should Artest of course) no matter what it takes. Forget egos. Personally Yao shouldn't have any ego considering that his injuries all these years really cost us a lot of heartache. Forget who is the alpha dog. I think TMac did a great job putting aside his ego when he joined the Rockets and really allowed Yao to shine. In short, Yao should friggin welcome Artest with open arms because a cohesive trio will get us far. very far!

I like how these two guys take it. It shows their maturity. These are the guys (together with Battier) that can rein in Artest's wildness. Artest needs a culture of maturity and intelligence to harness his great talent. I think the Rockets have that culture in place.

Why can't you just accept the simple fact?! I am not an YOH for sure!

Why do you think Yao still wants to be here if the rockets can't pass the 1st round next two seasons?

I believe everyone knows that Artest is a big gamble!

In fact, this gamble not only concerns Yao and Tmac's future, it is also about Morey and Adelman's future!

hmm you serious?? Yao has NO ONE to blame but himself and his injuries. If anything the Rockets organization should be blaming him and not the other way around. Got it? Same goes for TMac btw.
