They get a lot of their points on back cuts and layups.....

Their jump shots are not all that consistent.....but thanks for trolling, glad you went to 3 of the games, that makes you the expert I guess.

    WTF ever.

It's not like yao gave a lot of help from the weakside anyway. I don't remember one block where yao came from the weakside like AK did or like Battier did.

Yao should play the way Duncan plays. Face up and shoot.

    Oh please, just stop.

You're telling me a rotation which includes Derek Fisher, Deron Williams, Gordan Giricek, Matt Harpring, Carlos Boozer, and Mehmet Okur is a "weak jump-shooting team?"

    Don't think so.

Yao is just as passionate about winning...We need a someone to assist in his development, like Akeem or Moses...He'll be back stronger only if he can focus on becoming better...

It really does seem that Dream was always around the basket and not chasing guys on the perimeter.......unlike Yao.

I've wondered if thats teams making him to adjust or if that is our type of defense? (Please someone respond to this query)

I don't even care if Yao gives up some on the defensive side, his presence is just as powerful sometime....and I'm willing to let him slide a little on D to prevent fouls and to promote offense. Granted this is why a bigger and more agile PF is so badly needed as welll as a defensive bigger PG.

I really feel that DA DAkota has a point about the lack of footspeed on defense concerning Yao.

AS FOR JVG....I love his old school respect but to an extent you have to adapt to a league full of players that while they are not hard nose team players they are extremely athletic players where physical ability can often beat out mental toughness.

I guess I will now root for the team that the rockets should have been studying better over the years........THE PISTONS.

Defense was great Jeff (except for thr Yao argument above)but the offense was inconsistent. You put the guys where they could have succeeded but when they didn't you did not adjust good enough buddy. Thanks for TMAC and Battier.....good luck in the future.

MR. MOREY put on your thinking cap and keep your eye on this site. WE'VE got our moments!

Personally if we had lost game 7 in the championship would have hurt much worse than this. Thanks Rockets for your mercy and the entertainment this season.

NOW GET TO WORK....you don't need JVG to know that it pays off!
BRING on a PF and PG...its time....no matter whose coaching....we have got to get another threat!
