I saw a book of Yao quotes at the Barnes and Nobles in Houston a while back also. It was white, small and square with a quote on each page. Forget the title, but it was something real catchy like "Yao Ming Quotes"
A couple of Yao books: Yao: A Life in Two Worlds (Not published yet) http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...002-2946116-0437666?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 The Tao of Yao: Wit and Wisdom from the "Moving Great Wall" Yao Ming http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...002-2946116-0437666?v=glance&s=books&n=507846
That's kind of sick. I love Yao Ming as a basketball player but he's not Buddha or Ghandi he's a kid that's good at a playing basketball.
I heard that some books are not endorsed by Yao. They might not tell the truth or they are just out to make money. You might want to make sure before you buy.
I assume you meant books written about him or books written by him is sick! ? These days, just anyone can write a book. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
That's the one I saw. It isn't white, and I can't tell if it's small, but I'm still pretty sure it has one quote per page . Nothing really special, the author just collected a bunch of qoutes and published them. Prolly saw most of them from this site
I'm surprised not to find a thread with 117 posts in it on the quote in the Chron's Rocket Summary: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/2139640
With the overreaction that tends to sweep up the board I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen, but imo the "personnel moves" is related to the sentence above it: trimming the roster down to 12 players. Big whoop. Whose he gonna cut, ooooo the suspense.
By the way Clutchcity.net is mentioned in the book. I think the person who helped make this book is by someone who works for this website......i read the book while i was at barnes. It's really just a huge collection of quotes from Yao and others who were commenting about Yao. He's a pretty witty guy..................
