I think Adelamn gave up on the game in the 4th quarter yesterday and decided to rest his starters for the Boston game.
Love his offense and attacking style. His Defense is horrible, it appears as if he hasn't studied the guy he's holding and people are going by him to the bucket. Von has the ability to play much better D with his leaping ability and quickness to keep players in front of him and force them to shoot jumpers with hand in their face due to his leaping ability.
You can learn to play defense, offense is much harder, give me a guy that is a good offensive player and you can get him at least adequate on D....the inverse in not necessarily possible. I don't see Chuck Hayes stroking jumpers anytime soon. DD
The fact that we are excited about keeping what should have been an inactive roster spot, pretty much sums up how gay this season has been. Good for him. He has stepped up. I just wish he wouldn't have ever sniffed the court.
Mlwoo, He is very good on offense though, and works great with Yao...a good 3pt shooter that can drive and finish. Man, if we could only get a PF like Horry too.... DD
He was traded to Phoenix. Which is kind of a shame only if you consider that his girlfriend might have come to the games... Spoiler
I'm glad we're rewarding the players who work their butt off finally. But I agree that he should be playing more. As long as he keeps attacking the basket, keep him playing.
Since Rockets are doing very bad with Wafer in the starting line up, Morey might have already made the mistake by taking Wafer over DJ Strawberry. Results are the final judge. Strawberry can bring defense and play making and more attacking to the rim.... He might be a better fit than Wafer, but who knows.
