Again, he won a rookie of the month award, he was able to impress someone.

Do you think we could get more value for Chase? I don't think so, which is besides the point the Rockets suck.

To sit on talent like we do is just stupid. This includes Patterson and i'm just confused why this guy can't get consistent minutes on this team as well as Williams.

So we can make a run for the 8th seed?

He has a point. Whats the use in Ricks "strategy" to win more games games on a losing team by playing his only his veterans. Thats for winning teams. For losing teams you play the young guys a little.

That is exactly what they are trying to do. Why is that so hard to understand? It's not a difficult concept. The GM and coach have both said that's their goal.

T-Will needs to be patient for a few more days. After the dust settles from the trading deadline, he will likely get more playing time. It is highly likely that Battier gets traded to a contender. I find it equally unlikely that we pull off some miraculous trade and magically become a legitimate contender, meaning that it will be time to play the young players and see what we have. I would love to trade Budinger as well, further opening a spot for T-Will. If none of that occurs, there is also the chance that T-Will gets traded himself. Just give it a few more days.

Because it's not a very smart thing to do.

While its cool to be the Rah Rah Rockets, pounding our chest because we are too proud to tank. It'll be fun being the Pacers of the West while players like Evans, Cousins, Blake, Wall, Rose, Durant, Love etc go to teams smart enough to realize there is one surefire way to get a star player when you don't have one.

Hopefully by friday the Rockets will realize this by trading away players like Battier who are only keeping us in mediocre land and will do so as long as they remain here.

Exactly. And if he had an IQ over 70, he would understand that and shut up until the dust has settled.

I wouldn't exactly call anything on that video dominating. I like TWill; but he needs to wait his turn. A one on one pickup game is hardly the thing to show to prove your case for his playing time. There was never a doubt that he has talent.

    This is hilarious..

Lets bash someone because they want to play

Bro, when you are basically a rookie, on a new team, that hasn't proven himself, you don't whine to the press about playing time. Whine to the GM or the coach, or someone in the organization. Don't take it to the press. That's bad for the team. Team first ...or is that just too old school.

Twill's comments weren't that bad. Everybody just relax.

I for one want to see this guy play. He has star potential, but it will take some time and maturity.

What he said was absolutely positively harmless. It is a complete overstatement for the Chron to call it "venting."

"I am hoping I get more playing time. It's difficult to not play." How earth-shattering and outrageous!

Cut this brainless junk. He has not proven anything in the NBA so he has no right to whine. All he has is potential and what is the percentage of players with so called "Potential" who never made it in the league.

Like everyone else he has to prove his worth first in practice and whatever pt he is given, then he can talk. So far, all he has proven is that he has very little mass in between his ears.

Everything is news these days. "Oh my god, Twill farted in practice - must have really pissed Adelman off".

That's exactly the sort of thing he should say, regardless of how he feels inside. Obviously, he's still a bit immature, and has a very competitive personality, leavened with a streak of volatility. If he grows out of the immaturity, the rest can be an asset. Let's hope he grows out of it. The guy clearly has talent.

This guy is r****ded he doesn't play for a reason, he's definitely overrated by us, I like him as a player and his skillset but we often overlook the fact that he started in NJ and averaged like 8 and 5. He's obviously going to get PT after the trade deadline why would you even say that?

Hill's minutes were and still are very spotty. He gets PT because Yao is out and Miller has missed time too.

Patterson didn't see any time till late and just about everyone here thinks he doesn't get enough PT. He is also the beneficiary of Yao and Miller injuries.

Ish only got PT because Brooks and Lowry were hurt.

Of the 4 you mentioned, Bud is the only one who got a legit shot, and many argue that he deserves less minutes than he gets.

Adelman only plays our young guys when he HAS to.

He wasn't a starter in New Jersey... At least not for the entire season.

I've learned a while ago that it's really hard to trust quotes without any context. The media is not above completely manipulating a sound bite or a quote to make a story. That's not to say that it happened in this specific instance, but it happens often enough, especially in the sports world, for me to not completely bite on anything I read anymore.

Terrence isn't saying anything here that we haven't heard from Jared earlier in this season. "I want to play, I want to contribute, whether it be here or somewhere else. Nothing personal, I just want to be able to show what I can do." I don't recall anyone here calling Jared names like r****d for it. Makes me think some of you guys made up your mind about Williams, before he ever had a chance.

Understand that this isn't just a job for the majority of NBA players. This is their passion. It's what they've done for most of their lives. Of course they want to play. The ones that don't, the ones that are happy sitting at the end of the bench and collecting a paycheck are the ones who should be ridiculed.

It's been said before, but it should be said again: Nobody is saying Terrence is the next LeBron. Nobody is saying the Rockets should give him the keys to the franchise. All anyone has said, including Terrence, is, "Give me a chance."

How is that too much to ask this season?
