    Budinger is younger than T-Will.
    Hill is younger than T-Will.
    Patterson is younger than T-Will.
    Ish is younger than T-Will.

Dude needs to STFU. He'll get his PT when:

    1. Battier or Budinger gets traded.
    2. He moves over CBud on the depth chart.

One would think he learned his lesson in NJ.

With all that being said, we don't know the context of how he said all this.

I'd rather a guy want to play than he not want to play.

I haven't read this thread but I hope nobody is bashing him for this because his quotes weren't bad. Not like he requested a trade.

I seriously hope Adelman is done with the Rockets after this season.

    He's just been unimpressive.

Sorry, I don't think Morey gives up potentially high first round draft picks to "take a flyer" on a player. 2nd round, sure. But a 1st is too risky for a "flyer".

So you would rather the guy NOT want to play and have no fire even though he is riding the pine while watching garbage players like Budinger gobble up all the minutes that could go to him? I like the fire and desire he is showing. He WANTS to play. He WANTS to pass. He WANTS to WIN. That is way better than at the very least then having him pout and walking out on the team.

Really???.... since he is the guy that is aggressively trying to trade Battier... All reports are out there that Morey and the Rockets FO are the most aggressive team out there trying to get deals done for Nene, Wallace, picks, etc...

It takes two to tango, and right now there are no sellers.

You tell me what he is supposed to do to get TWilliams playing time other than send him to the D-League, which would be a huge disaster? Is he supposed to take over coaching and rotations??? Did he get a crowbar and go all Tonya Harding on Yao Ming's foot and Tracy McGrady's knee??...

We aren't even a year away from a team that is moving on and rebuilding from two superstars(max contract players)... lower your expectations and accept that this is a rebuilding team and TWilliams is not the answer to the problem.

He is a project, more from an attitude point of view. Can he prove himself to be a team player and not a entitled knucklehead. So far he is proving himself to be the ladder.

Obviously he practices with the team. You have no idea what goes on there and in the locker room. If he is having issues with Adelman, and obviously telling the media he is hoping for a trade, then I have no problem with Adelman benching him, and Morey standing behind his coach.

It has been communicated by Morey that he will get his shot, he thinks he has all-star potential, and it was more about timing then anything. Everyone else in Houston got the message. Apparently TWill is the only person who didnt get it. Accept the situation or they will gladly send you to the Valley.

John Wooden and Red Auerbach reincarnated wouldn't fare much better with this roster. Seriously, even if calling every game to the exact whim...I mean perfection of the typical GARM fan, what record are you expecting?

If being a good shooter is why he isn't getting playing time then Chase Budinger should be sitting his butt right on the bench with him since he's shooting 42% from the field and 30% from 3.

I am pretty sure that if he was better than the guys already playing - he would be higher on the depth chart. To assume that a coach (especially of a losing team) would sit a player and play less talented players instead of him is crazy talk.

Lee and Bud get more burn as they are better fits for the system.

You don't think non-lottery 1st round picks are projects? You may want to go back and scan through past drafts and see the players picked in mid-late first rounds. Don't tell me that these players weren't "risky".

Anyone bashing Twill is an idiot. Quit being a hater. The guys got game and our team is going nowhere. If he wasn't complaining about a lack of pt, then I'd be worried. He didn't even say anything bad. Adelman is the one who needs to be ridiculed. He's being stubborn as hell, and I'm pretty sure he's gone senile.

The first part of your statement answers the latter part.

F T-Will he isn't a superstar! Let him whine and tell him to develop a jumpshot. The games he played he looked timid. Prove yourself when you get in the game. His play isn't making the coach look crazy for keeping him on the bench. Is he playing extremely better than Budinger, Lee or Battier?

Funny, People are bashing this kid for wanting to play!

    Newsflash,

Battier is done, Budinger sucks on most nights(especially defensively) & the Rockets as a whole has sucked! Why shouldn't the kid play? Because Budinger better? REALLY? Based on what?

You have NOTHING to lose! PLAY THE YOUNG MAN!

Nobody is being a "hater." The Rockets front office, Morey, and coach Adelman have been up front with the media, fans, and surely the players about the current roster situation. They took advantage at grabbing TWilliams knowing there wasn't going to be playing time this season.

He will have to go through training camp just like everyone else on the Rockets roster did this year. Everyone else got the memo. Somehow TWill thinks differently.

-If the Rockets are focusing on making moves before the trade deadline then they need Budinger, Battier, Lee, etc. to be valuable trading assets on the market if they are to get maximum value. Benching those guys a month ago in order to get TWill his minutes would have minimized their trade value.

He's on the bench for a reason, and he will play for the Rockets at some point. It just might not be till next season if a move cannot be made by Friday.

Morey knew about his attitude and still took him in. We knew we weren't getting a guy who was going to say the right things. He didn't say anything wrong per se, but it indicates he feels he can do better, deserves better and might start trouble. This is not what we need though I understand his frustration. I mean, you take a guy from a team where he lacked PT only to go somewhere else and still be in the same situation.

Is it possible at all to request playing time, show you want to be on the floor during game time, and talk about your playing time and role on team behind the scenes outside of the media?

What's the point of saying this to the media (even if he was asked in the first place)? To show the Twill apologists that he's got "heart", "burning desire", "the will to compete"...or in other words some more ammo so those fans can b**** and moan about the usual crap? All Twill needs to learn now is to make the typical Twill apologist to sit, roll over, and fetch the papers for him.
