No, they really aren't. Terrence Williams isn't just a dunker -- you might have a point if we were discussing James White.

If you were pro #FreeTWill, then I'd think you'd want him to STOP retweeting and b****ing on Twitter.

    No?

I'm pretty sure the team could fine him.

So he's allowed to degrade the team like this without any punishment?

    Punishment?

The guy rides the pine. That's his punishment.

Meh. Whatever. He's pretty much as good as gone at this point. I haven't gone to his page, but those quotes from his twitter are pretty funny. This might be one of the more entertaining meltdowns in recent Rockets history. Whether he can be fine or not is irrelevant, this is definitely going to piss management off.

Would have been nice to see if he could have actually helped this team, though. What a waste of a future pick. Oh well.

Twill just let it all out through his retweets lol. He wants playing time, but there is just no room. Personally, i think he is good enough to play but thats the way it is i guess.. Another "asset"

I'm looking forward to Twill playing next year with a different coach on the bench.

Yep... And in a different jersey, too.

I suspect that after the Trade Deadline, if he's still on the team, he will be fined for retweeting. Right now, fining him only makes him harder to trade. But if he's still on the roster on the 25th, I suspect a monumental meltdown coming. And that will be the fitting end to the Rocket's 2011 season.

I would like to point out that once a guy gets a reputation as a headcase, or a malcontent, it's hard to convince a lot of GMs to give you another shot. Terrence needs to chill out and start acting like a professional, or he may be having a hissy fit out of the league. I don't want little b!tches like that on the Rockets.

The real problem I have here is that asset's value just got pummeled after doing nothing but racking up DNP's for months here. We traded a protected first rounder for him... We'd be pretty damn lucky if we could get the same sending him out. Pretty much a total waste.

Whether he's dealt by noon tomorrow or during the summer, those that said this situation wasn't completely botched by Morey/Adelman don't have a leg to stand on at this point. This has been, in classic intrawebz form, epic fail.

Well that would be the mature thing to do without a doubt, but at the same time he's got what over 9,000 tweets can't say I would expect anything less from the guy.

He's gotta be frustrated right now, and as a fan I am as well I really think he's got to much talent to waste.

And who knows, maybe other GMs see his tweets and don't care to have that on their team. It's absolutely plausible that he has driven down his own value with his past (Nets) issues and current tweets.

Then again, I keep forgetting that most posters on this site attend every Rockets practice, have their own desk right next to Morey's, and stand in the Rockets huddles during timeouts. Oh, and a couple of you are just straight-up pissed that Adelman didnt draw up a play for you during said timeouts.

The problem here is not T-Will, it's Adelman. Guy needs to get a clue. I keep hearing all this talk of us needing better perimeter defense( and it showed tonight ). Well, we have our perimeter defense sitting over on the bench every night in Williams and Jeffries.
