Talk from Tracy McGrady is cheap. What he says in the article doesn't impress me at all. I don't believe for one minute he had no idea of how much he slacked against Toronto until watching film. Baloney!

Tracy: Put up or shut up, because your words have been proven non-credible and self-serving so many times before. The summer of 2010 will be a relief because I know you won't be back.

    Blah, blah, blah.

Not that we could expect him to come out and say, "I'm Shaq-ing the regular season. I'll play hard in the postseason. You'll see. Then you'll be sorry you criticized Tmac. YOU'LL ALL BE SORRY!"

How I hope we find a decent trade for him. How I hope Morey and Adelman don't buy any of this. Of course, they all might be privy to Tmac wanting out for all we know, and Tmac has to say something to the media.

Tell a man he can't do something and he will set out to prove you wrong, look at McNabb.

The question then is whether T-Mac is a man or not

T-Mac, pls prove all ur critics wrong, 1st step is by helping Rockets win the next game against Sixers then we move on from there. no more excuses. if ur really physically hurt, shut urself down and rehab, no more half hearted display like the one against the Raps

LOL. I really hope people on this board are not buying into the absolute crap he is spitting right now. He thought he was playing hard, but when he watched the tape he wasn't playing hard. That is the dumbest ***** I ever heard. Anyone who has even remotely played any type of basketball not fully healthy knows when your going hard and when your not, regardless of what the tape may show. And another thing the guy with the best court vision on our team is all of a sudden having trouble with finding scoring opportunities. I'm sorry guys, T-Mac is a robotic excuse. He somehow, someway, finds an excuse for everything. It's time to man up T-Mac, your not getting any younger.

He didn't really criticize himself -- he criticized people who are negative about his play.

My message to Tracy -- STFU and play.

If you really want to be back, Mac, start it from your physical training and practice. Gradually add its intensity until a high level. That's my best advice to you.

A super star knows his day is over not on the court but on the training.

I'm expecting that he will eventually have some good games in the future. But I don't expect lasting change. However, I would love to be proved wrong.

I can't understand his lack of dedication. I'm a recent college grad looking for work. I would gladly shovel crap all day long for 0.2% of his income.

That's what I got from it.

I'm against trading Tmac. I want him to show flashes of last season. But his attitude makes it tough to side with him. He admits he's slacked off but then complains that people have been critical about it. If he doesn't think he deserves the criticism, I don't know what to say. Even the Kobe's and Lebron's get ripped from time to time. You can't take all the glory but none of the blame.

At least he admits he's been slacking though. The only way to prove he's a superstar is on the court. The promises are empty for now.

You'd shovel crap all day long for $40,000?

If you don't mind me asking, what did you major in at college?
