That's all that needs to be said. With the way injuries have gone the last 2 years, I'm finding it very hard to get to the level of excitement I've had in years past. Everytime I feel myself drinking the kool-aid a little more and believing the hype around this team, I keep thinking of T-Mac's back and Yao's freak injuries. The only thing that's different this time is that we can truly say we have DEPTH this year. Our second team is good enough to be a starting squad for some teams.

Hook me up to the same "feel good machine" that Tracy and Les are conncted to, my day's moving slower than molasses in mud!

Funny when T-Mac is quiet, people say he's not a leader. When he tries to take on the responsibilities, people ask him to shut up and just play ball.

In sports, talking is not enough, you gotta do it. If you say something like, "It's good to be in the second round", you got to do it.

To me, TMac need improve two things, first, free throws, second, take care of his back by playing whatever he can. On Tuesday, as soon as he fall down the floor, I said to myself that there would be no a NBA title for Rox again this year. Less talk are good too, but that are Ok. The NBA has lots of talkers :) , TMac is not one of them, I think.

Telling the media how good you feel before a season starts doesn't make you a leader.

It's just that he's said these same kinds of things before every season since he's been here. A lot of us are tired of hearing about it. We want to see it.

I'd rather him talk about this than retirement and how old he feels again.

well the fact that he went up to try to throw that left dunk on david west and took a hard fall from it (and bounced right back up) tells me that he is pretty healthy. even last year in a preseason game he had a wide open breakaway dunk and just dunked it in, nothing fancy. tracy last year wouldnt try to throw that dunk down over west during a game let alone preseason.

looking forward to the game tonight

He's the voice and captain (well, co-captain with Yao but he doesnt talk a lot) so he's expected to speak to the media on a daily basis. So he has to say something, but I dont think there's anything arrogant about this.

However, he does need to shut up before and during the playoffs, because his statements usually end up in bad karma.

    LOL, that didn't take long.

It's almost comical at this point. It will be even funnier when he tells us that this is finally theyear he has a good enogh team to advance in the playoffs.

I like reading that because I liked our defense & I *HOPE* beyond all hope that we can maintain some of that defensive tenacity.

If you're thinking in a strictly offensive manner, that's good too because now we can incorporate more options where the D can't key on just a couple of plays knowing how to defend it.

"This is the first stage of our offense and this system. Right now, it's a five-man offense. Everybody is involved. We haven't put in set plays for myself and for Yao . I'm not worried about playing off the ball. The shots are going to be there for me."

How about not always putting yourself before others?
