I won't believe anything until I see him on the court.

It's alright. By the time he breaks his back again, Yao is back by then.

Tmac's back is just fine, but he wont be back until January 2007 ( about a week from now), I just have this feeling that he is working out really hard with the old ball to get his shot back and come back with an advantage over active players who need a couple of games to adjust to the new ball..

I really hope this is true.

watch for Tmac on January 3rd against Seattle. he will go for 65 and break his old record.

This is a non-story. McGrady has been a game or two away from returning ever since he went down. Clearly, he's still not feeling right despite spending nearly 2 weeks away. The original diagnosis that this was just minor compared to last year looks to have been off.

I agree !! I remember thinking " Its only for a few games and he said its not as bad as last year !!" We all know its chronic and more serious than lat year...I Love T-Mac but I don't think he will ever be the same... :(

He still hasn't had a real practice. He's had "workouts". Whatever that means.

Well, let's just hope JVG will keep Deke away from him during practice, or it's "lights out" McGrady.

T-Mac should not be rush back. If he is still not 100% he should not be back period. As for the current roster, I don't know if move can be made by the end of the year. I am just bummed by the bad luck this team has. I hope 2007 will be kinder to the Rockets.

    TMAC UPDATE

McGrady was not only with the Rockets on Monday's flight, he worked out successfully Monday morning and is expecting to go through shootaround on Tuesday with a decision about playing coming after that.
But before Saturday, he had not been able to work out on consecutive days. On Monday, he made it four in a row.

Thanks for the update. That's good news.

I'm not getting my hopes too high on seeing him but I sure hope we do see him tomorrow, his presence on the floor is a necessity.

Anyone think we can beat the Pacers if T-Mac isn't a go to play?
