So you're saying Reefer doesn't commit stupid fouls, bad turnovers and got beat cause he misses defensive assigments?

I agree with this to an extent. I've been extremely consistent for a long time. The problem with the extent is that the worse he shoots on his wide open high quality attempts (most of his shots) the harder it is for T-Mac and Yao. T-Mac and Yao take tough shots...sometimes they have to make them to establish the double team. Once your role players start hitting consistently, that makes things easier on your stars. Rafer adds a lot to the team with his skills but also takes away from the team with his worst shooting in the NBA. If Rafer is going to continue this in the playoffs, the Rockets must excel in other areas to win: offensive rebounding, making tough shots, etc.

I support Rafer. I hate that he sucks at shooting. It's just like I hate when T-Mac is cold and takes terrible shots trying to get hot at the expense of the team.

I have actually wondered the same thing. Alston seems to get a "free pass" on alot of things. Obviously, JVG likes him. I still think he will eventually play himself out of the lineup.

Yeah...I'm sure he would read it. That's what NBA players do at home, read fan site message boards.

Because with all the mistakes Span and Novak make, shooting well is the only thing that can possibly keep them in the game. If they don't shoot well, they're a complete negative.

Meanwhile, with Rafer, everything else keeps him in the game, despite shooting poorly. He still has a lot of other positives.
