    I second that question. It may be an accurate number, which would make Artest really scary!! Artest has been the only player to be able to match LeBron James physically, but now at 270 lbs? Assuming he's still retaining his quickness, God help the likes of Melo, Pierce, Wade.

    Actually, I'd be willing to bet that JVG never told his 3-point shooters to "try" to box out their man on the offensive end. That would kill his transition defense.

    Battier would try to get offensive rebounds only if he happened to be near the basket. Under JVG's system, 3pt shooters are responsible for getting back in transition defense.

    This is probably one of the most important reasons why Battier didn't work well as a 4 in JVG's system. He plays away from the basket on offense most of the time. He is most suited for transition defense. But then we would have no one other than Yao to get offensive rebounds. (If Bonzi worked out at that time, he would have been the one going for offensive rebound while Shane would cover for transition defense. But we all know how Bonzi did.)
